Watchman Sees Counterfeit Christianity: Satan Causes More Harm Through Imitation Than Outright Opposition

By SRH, Satan is offended by religion. Had it not been for that, he would not have been the inspiration of over 4,000 false religions. Yes, Satan loves religion, especially when it allows him to fabricate ceremonial, meaningless beliefs devoid of the gospel that saves lives and distorts the veracity of God’s Word. Instead of taking the prescribed route of separation, holiness, heavenliness, and testifying, the church had decided to build lavish temples and amass earthly wealth and power in order to civilize the world. The Bible Instructs Us to “Receive the Word in Spite of Filthiness and the Remnants of Wickedness” (James 1:21). It Is Impossible to Listen to God’s Word and Keep Sin in Your Heart at the Same Time

Watchman: In the Bible, Thanksgiving The Bible is replete with references to offering thanks. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name,” is what Psalm 100:4 exhorts believers to do. The act of approaching God with a grateful heart is emphasized in this verse. Furthermore, believers are exhorted to “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” in 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18. These verses emphasize the biblical command to always have an attitude of gratitude, no matter what our circumstances may be. Gratitude Outside of Thanksgiving Although Thanksgiving is a unique occasion to spend with family and friends and show gratitude, believers are encouraged by the biblical teaching to practice thankfulness on a daily basis. Gratitude is a comprehensive emotion, […]
