Pestilence: 30,000 Pigs Dead As Pig Ebola Spreads In Indonesia’s North Sumatra

Last month more than 4,000 pigs died from African swine fever (ASF) in Indonesia’s North Sumatra province. The outbreak appears to be worsening in December with as many as 30,000 pigs dead, according to the province’s food security and livestock agency, reported Reuters.  The @OIEAnimalHealth has also confirmed the outbreaks of African #Swine Fever in North Sumatra province, Indonesia. In total 392 villages got infected with #ASF, and over 28,000 #pigs were killed.
