SRH: The Anti-Christian Demonic Obama/Biden Administration has ordered a German homeschooling family that legitimately immigrated to America to leave the country. The move comes as the White House continues to turn a blind eye to millions of illegal immigrants pouring through the southern border.

A deportation order against a German Christian homeschooling family that arrived legally in this nation more than ten years ago to avoid persecution was revoked by the Biden Administration.
According to the Home School Legal Defense Association, Uwe and Hannelore Romeike, who reside in Tennessee with their seven children, will receive a one-year reprieve from deportation on Wednesday.
According to the HSLDA, "this outcome is the direct result of your calls, your signature on the petition, and your outreach to Congress on this issue."
Listeners to the Todd Starnes Show flooded the congressional phone lines with calls pleading with senators to step in and prevent the imminent deportation of the Romeike family.
During a routine check-in with their neighborhood Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office on September 6, 2023, the Romeikes were informed that they had four weeks to obtain passports and travel back to Germany. The news arrived without prior notice or any cause or justification.
Jim Mason, president of the HSLDA, stated that the Romeike family "should be able to remain in the United States and home-educate their children." The capacity of parents to freely direct the education of their own children without fear of punishment or persecution is one of the most significant freedoms and opportunities in the United States.
The Romeike family made the decision to home-educate their children in Germany in 2006 on the basis of two fundamental convictions: a strong belief that they were responsible to God for their children's education and a growing worry that the curriculum of German public schools, particularly its anti-Christian and sexual elements, threatened to harm their children. The family left Germany after years of persecution, penalties that were greater than their annual income, and the forcible removal of their children from their house.
The Romeikes requested refuge in the United States in August 2008, and HSLDA helped them obtain permits to do so. The Romeikes were awarded refuge by the Department of Homeland Security, but immigration authorities revoked the judgment. The Romeikes received indefinite deferred action status from the Obama administration in 2013 following five years of legal disputes.
The Romeikes have been able to live, work, and educate their children at home without interference for the past ten years, yet they have been required to frequently report to the ICE office nearest them in Tennessee. We are shocked to learn that the Romeikes have been told to leave for Germany and are working hard to ensure their continuing, legal presence in this country.

The Romeikes had to flee Germany in 2008 as the government persecuted them for homeschooling their children. The Germans fined the family and threatened to take their children away. When I was working at Fox News, I spent years documenting the family's struggle.
Uwe and Hannelore Romeike, along with their five children, eventually settled in eastern Tennessee and received indefinite deferred action status. Without fear of deportation, evangelical Christians were able to live, work, and remain in the United States.
They have two children (both of whom are American citizens), and two of their grown children have married Americans in the ten years they have lived in the United States. They also have a grandchild from the United States.
However, during a normal check-in with the American authorities a few weeks ago, the family was told to pack their belongings and return to Germany. They were being expelled from the country.
According to the Home school Legal Defense Association, the Romeikes were allowed four weeks to apply for German passports before being deported.
"The family had no prior warning and was offered no explanation; other than that, there had been a 'change of orders,'" said the HSLDA. "Deportation to Germany will fracture these families while exposing the Romeikes to renewed persecution in Germany, where homeschooling is still illegal in almost every case."
