Matthew 7:15-16 15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

Jesus warned us to be wary of false prophets. Many people claim to have received a divine message. They are difficult to notice from the outside. The'sheep's clothes' frequently leads us to believe they are one of God's children. However, the outside and inside are completely different. Most people recognize someone who yells and screams and condemns everyone as being off track, but what about those who appear to be kind and meek? How are we expected to recognize them?

The leaf is one technique to identify a plant, however even this method is susceptible to error. Many of the leaves are similar. The simplest method is to look at the plant's fruit. What is the plant's output? That indicates what kind of plant it is. What is the fruit of the life of the individual in question? Is their home peaceful and loving? Are their supporters nice and caring? Does their instruction humble the listener or make them proud of their hidden knowledge? A false teacher might duplicate the gifts of the Spirit for a short time, but not the fruit of the Spirit. When they are not in front of their audience, keep an eye on them. See them when they believe no one is looking, and you'll soon figure out what sort of tree they are.

The same can be said about us. Do you understand what kind of tree you are? What conclusion would an unbiased observer of your life reach? Are you a grapevine, a thornbush, a fig tree, or a thistle? Sometimes we mistake ourselves for someone we are not. Examine your fruit and be honest with yourself about what it is. That is the first step toward the transformation that Christ's life in you will bring about.

Remember, if you become His fruit, you will yield His fruit.

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
