Watchman: Daily Devotional,You Want to Prepare Yourself and Get Ready for the Imminent Collapse of This Empire Called the United States of America, You Need to Step Out of the Deception and Propaganda of Our Culture, and Get To Know the One Who Is “The Way, the Truth, and the Life,” Jesus Christ

If we can't agree on what is "truth" and what is "not truth," we're in the same boat as the morally depraved country of Israel, which ceased following Moses' law and "everyone did what was right in his own eyes."

And that is where we are today in the United States, as people follow their idols and expect to these idols to lead them out of our culture's current corruption, which is on the verge of collapse.

With the country securely divided between "Left" and "Right" views, those icons are largely political and religious."Truth" is judged in light of these false prophets from both political and theological ideologies and dogmas.

And because so few people are looking to Jesus Christ, who IS the Truth, God has now placed a great spirit of illusion onto the people of this country, as we stand on the verge of God's wrath.

This is the same phenomena addressed by Paul in the New Testament in his second letter to the people of Thessalonica, when their culture was similarly on the verge of collapse and was completely destroyed just a few years later, in 70 AD, when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple.

Read what Paul wrote carefully, for the same concepts apply to us today:

Don't let anyone deceive you, because that day will not come until the revolt starts and the man of lawlessness, the man doomed to destruction, is revealed. He will oppose and exalt himself above everything that is called God or worshiped, erecting himself in God's temple and proclaiming himself to be God.

Don't you remember how I used to tell you these things when I was with you? And now you know what is preventing him from being revealed at the appropriate time.

For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work, but the one who is currently holding it back will continue to do so until he is removed. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the grandeur of his arrival.

The arrival of the lawless one will be in accordance with Satan's activity, which will be manifested in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs, and wonders, as well as in all types of evil that deceives those who are perishing.

They perish as a result of their refusal to love the truth and therefore be saved. As a result, God sends them a tremendous delusion so that they will believe the lie and all who have not believed the truth but have relished in wickedness will be condemned.

But we must always praise God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, for God chose you from the beginning to be rescued through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through faith in the truth.

He called you to this through our gospel, so that you would share in our Lord Jesus Christ's glory.So, brothers, stand firm and adhere to the lessons we passed on to you, whether orally or in writing. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal encouragement and good hope through his grace, encourage your hearts and empower you in every good deed and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-17 (my emphasis)

I've highlighted the key verses that describe the same situation that modern-day America is in, where people "refuse to love the truth," and thus God has sent "a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness" will be condemned.

This is the Great Deception of the Twenty-First Century, and it began in earnest in 2020 with the entire COVID deception, and the people who led the nation into this deception were our political and religious leaders, and their idolatry in believing in the lies of Big Pharma and their corporate media mouthpieces that broadcast Satanic lies to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
