When you allow people who never had power before, they fight to keep it. Look at all the public health departments, with very little education. To have power, they ran with it. Mandating shots, masks, lockdowns, and social distance.They became addicts, wanting more and more power.

In 2023, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) made the decision to uphold the COVID-19 vaccination requirement without analyzing any data.

On May 1, 2023, VA Secretary Denis McDonough assured that the current policies at the VA would remain unaffected by the discontinuation of various other federal mandates.

McDonough emphasized that the primary goal of VA healthcare workers is to safeguard the well-being of veterans and their colleagues.

No specific studies or data were referenced by McDonough. The VA spokesperson declined to disclose any details that were taken into account before choosing to retain the mandate. Despite a request under the Freedom of Information Act by The Epoch Times for documents outlining the data used to establish and maintain the mandate, the agency was unable to provide this information.

Leslie Manookian, the president and founder of the Health Freedom Defense Fund, criticized the VA for failing to provide scientific justification for its policies, suggesting that they are unable to do so.
