Watchman’s Daily Devotional: False Teachers Will Always Attempt to Seduce You Back Into Allowing Your Flesh to Rule. Even Though Their Lessons Can Be Deviously Sophisticated, You Can Tell They Are Teaching You Anything by the Way They Resemble Human Customs

Colossians 2:6-8 6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, 7rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

It took thousands of years for the unknown to eventually come to light. The plan was for the Christ to enter the world as a man, carrying within him all of God's attributes, and then die as our sin-paying lamb. Paul urged them to live in Jesus even after they accepted Him as Lord, since that they understood the secret of the ages. We have to choose minute by moment whether to stay in Him or take back control of our own lives. Realizing the benevolence of God in illuminating this mystery and bringing it to our comprehension aids us in making the proper decision.

We must establish strong roots in our new existence and do more than just live in Him. We should get ready for the winds of adversity and temptation since we know they are coming. Go farther in love, surrender, and submit today than you did yesterday. By using the trust that has been given to you, strengthen it. Read His Word to discover more of the amazing truths of Christ. Often and whenever you can, thank Him for everything that He has done for you.

False teachers will always attempt to seduce you back into allowing your flesh to rule. Even though their lessons can be deviously sophisticated, you can tell they are teaching you anything by the way they resemble human customs and common sense. It most certainly won't be centered on Christ, who is the sole solution God has for meeting human needs.

False teaching, according to Paul, captures you. Like the Israelites, you will encounter someone who will try to sell you a plan if you want to go back to the old ways. To be ready for such deception, you can only become more and more dependent on Christ. Reside in Him. Put down roots. Develop a solid faith as you grow.

Advice: Show Him more love than you did the day before.

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
