Kamala Harris has expressed intentions to make changes to religious freedom protections if she wins the presidential election in November.
Harris, who was ranked as one of the most liberal senators in the US, has a strong stance on abortion rights and LGBT issues, which some view as extreme. There are concerns among certain groups that her policies may negatively impact Christians.
Some Catholic leaders, including Michael Hichborn, express concerns about the potential impact on religious freedoms under a Harris presidency.
Harris’s policies would result in the persecution and forced indoctrination of Christians, mirroring the practices observed in far-left Communist China.
According to Harris and the Democrats, there are concerns about the impact of religious freedom on democracy and the potential for the spread of Christian extremism.
Vice President Harris is currently the Democratic Party’s choice to run for president in 2024.
If there are no unexpected changes, the Democrats will officially nominate her in the first week of August.
Her record of opposing Christianity and Christian values is causing some concerns.
During the Biden-Harris administration, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has been actively and selectively enforcing the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act), which has led to the scrutiny of individuals like Mark Houck, who advocate for the pro-life movement.
The same DOJ also released a memo through the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that made unfounded accusations against Catholics who attend the Traditional Latin Mass.
The FBI has also conducted surveillance on Latin Mass churches during the Biden-Harris administration.
Similarly, Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland and the DOJ released a memo suggesting that concerned parents and advocates who opposed racial identity politics and sexual ideology in the classroom were viewed in a negative light.
The Biden-Harris administration also attempted to impose requirements on hospitals and doctors, including those with religious affiliations, to participate in procedures related to gender identity and reproductive health.
But in addition to that, Harris has a history of focusing on pro-lifers and Christians.
