AN ISLAND IN A SEA OF CULTS, THE CULT HAS BECOME WHAT PASSES

FOR CHRISTIANITY ITSELF… Edward O’Hara Did you know that most of the Bible spouting religious world has been taken over by a cult? One as Stevieray Hansen has put it in one of his articles is much like the ‘covidian cult’ being foisted upon the world through it’s use of a totally delusional official narrative that has little or no connection to Biblical reality and that is contradicted by a preponderance of facts. It is because of this that instead of the cult being an island in the sea of orthodox Christianity as it was in the days of the apostles. The cult has become what passes for Christianity itself.  Here’s a couple questions whose answers will show you whether you have become part of the cult, or are a part of the orthodoxy of the apostles and prophets.  Do you…

Put.2- Augustinian ism; A Strong Delusion

Edward O’Hara As I said in my last article I will show here more details on the need for the atonement from the events in the garden… and more. One thing we must do as Christians are we must believe what the Bible plainly says so we can know God and what it is that God has done for us in salvation. Because when we believe what we have been told without confirming its truthfulness, as Paul commended the Bereans for doing in Acts17.11, from the plain teaching from the plain language in our Bible, we will set ourselves up for being deceived. So I won’t continue through the plain language in the Genesis account along with some other scriptures to see if that has happened. And how knowing the truth from what the Bible plainly says can fix that if…

BELIEVE PAUL OR BELIEVE AUGUSTINE YOU CAN NOT DO BOTH, WHEN WE THINK

OF WHAT PAUL WROTE… Edward O’Hara… in Rom.5:12-14 we can only conclude that the sin nature and original sin doctrines are lies. Because Paul said here that before the law came through Moses sin was not imputed by God because there was no law. While the sin nature and original sin doctrines teach that sin was imputed because there was law before Moses that brought the imputation of sin.  Which will you believe. Paul? Or Augustine? Did God separate Paul as an apostle to write 3/4 of the New Testament? Or was it Augustine God separated as an apostle so that you are to believe his doctrines? Of course God separated Paul as an apostle. Then why do so many believe Augustine’s doctrines and not Paul’s? It’s because they have a form of insanity known as cognitive dissonance. They have believed two…

BELIEVING IS EASY. FOR MOST THE HARD PART IS FIGURING OUT WHAT TO

BELIEVE… Edward O’Hara … This is so true. So many believe in whatever their senses lead them to that their beliefs make up what is the proverbial soup sandwich. What Paul referred to as those who “oppose themselves”. A smorgasbord of this, that, and the other, that has no basis in truth. The only truth that sets men free. Truth that is a person whose name is Jesus. But, even many of those who say they believe in Jesus have beliefs that are not consistent with what the Bible teaches. Even though they may proclaim their beliefs are the result of Bible study.  Why is it so hard for people who say they believe the Bible to actually believe it? Is it because they have never understood what they have read? Or is it because what they read has been interpreted for…

FREE WILL, GOD’S GREATEST GIFT TO

MANKIND THE CHOICES WE MAKE… Edward O’Hara They are our choices and ours alone. Made by free will. The free will that is possible because God, who because He is love decided to make man in His image and likeness, gave us the power to make a choice not determined by predestination or fate or divine will, completely free from coercion or restraint. God, Himself tells us He did this for two reasons. 1. Love must be freely given and freely received or it is not love. And 2. because if the choice is not by free will then no one can justly be held accountable for the choices they make. And if it is someone else that has pre-determined our choices as the false sin nature doctrine that so many have wrongly been taught to believe teaches, or if…

ROMANS 7 IS NOT A TREATISE ON THE

DUAL NATURE OF THE CHRISTIAN… Edward O’Hara… To the contrary, it is nothing of the sort. Is it really that difficult to understand what Paul was teaching in Rom.7? Not if you believe the plain language Paul uses there. He says plainly that the woman who has a husband is bound to that husband until he is dead. And he even states plainly that the husband that must be dead so that the woman is free to marry another that he is referring to in this analogy is the law that is the covenant Israelites are under. How much more plain can he make it?  But, it seems that every time I read or hear someone expounding on what this chapter teaches they are using it to explain the battle all men have between some “sinful nature” they falsely believe…

WHO DID SIN? THIS MAN OR HIS PARENTS?

Edward O’Hara “And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”  Have you ever really thought about what was happening here? I don’t mean the healing that took place. Because as fantastic as that is it’s not that part of the message that I want us to focus on. Because the bigger story here regarding sin that Jesus is trying to convey has little to do with the blindness of this man being healed. And so much more to do with how we should see this story as an explanation of who God is. And…

CHIEFEST AMONG SINNERS… AND “BLAMELESS”? Does that seem like a contradiction to you?

Edward O’Hara Sat 7/11/2020 10:13 PM… The apostle Paul said of himself “that Christ came to save sinners of whom I am chief”. And he also said that “touching the righteousness that is in the law(he was) blameless”(1Tim.1:15, Phil.3:6). Does that seem like a contradiction to you? How is it that Paul could say of himself that he had been both “chief” among sinners, and at the same time “touching the righteousness which is in the law blameless”? Is it possible that both of these could be true at the same time? Is it possible that Paul kept the law blamelessly as he said he did and was chief of sinners too?   I remember hearing the pastor of a church I once attended, after reading this passage in Phil.3, say that he could not understand how Paul could say he…

UP-DATE: 11/07/2020 At 7:49 PM The Food Shortage and The Coming Tribulation

As governors and President Donald Trump consider ways to prematurely open up America amid the still-unfolding Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, they are risking much more than just lives. They are actually putting our entire food supply chain at risk, and once that collapse begins, like a jetliner spiraling out of control, there will be no way to stop the crash. As reported by The Hill, our fragile ‘just in time’ food chain can still be impacted in ways that would only compound the economic destruction and death coronavirus has already caused:  The coronavirus pandemic has upended food supply chains, led to closures of meat producing plants and left Americans with the unsettling experience of seeing empty shelves at supermarkets. Coupled with the run on toilet paper that led to severe shortages, recent events are leading Americans to wonder if the nation’s food supply…

Sin Nature Together With Free Will- Theological Insanity

By Edward O’Hara Fri 7/24/2020 8:57 AM If you aren’t sure what that means it is when you have two things you believe are both true that actually cancel each other out. They are mutually exclusive ideas. One may be true while the other is not. Or neither are true. But, they can not both be true.  Cognitive dissonance reigns supreme among the many and various denominations today. Their teachers practice it and are making sure it is practiced by their parishioners by teaching them the unbiblical notion that men are born with a sin nature they inherited from Adam. And in perfect cognitive dissonance form they have married it with the notion that men also have free will. Not only are these two beliefs mutually exclusive, the false sin nature doctrine is a belief in salvation by works. And when…
