From the Watchman: I’m Curious as to Whether or Not the Words That God Would Give Jonah in the Modern Day Would Be Similar to the Ones That He Gave Jonah in the Ancient Times. What Is the Total Number of Days Available to the United States? Would a Jonah Who Lived in the Modern Era Provide Us With a Time Frame, or Would He Say That We Are Already Being Destroyed From the Inside?

The United States of America is not only the largest consumer of illegal drugs and sex trafficking but also the country that exports the most pornographic material. It is clear that politicians are corrupt and driven by greed. The moral fabric of many of our nation's major cities is completely rotten.

As a result of turf wars, some areas have the feel of a war zone. The acceptance of the Word of God is causing divisions within our congregations. Crimes are not punished, and it is difficult to ascertain the truth. I do not mean to frighten you, but we do need to be honest about the degeneration of the nation and take a bold stand against it, walk the walk, and pray to God for revival. I do not mean to scare you, but we do need to be honest about the degeneration of the nation.

God will never let us off the hook for what we are capable of understanding. This is something that always plays a role in His judgment. In Luke 12, Jesus emphasizes the importance of this point. Luke 12:41-48 41 Peter asked, "Lord, are you telling us this parable, or are you telling it for all?" 42 Then the Lord said, "Who then is the trustworthy and knowledgeable manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?" 43 Blessings upon the servant whose master will find him serving in such a way when the master returns. 44 In all sincerity,

I tell you that he will put him in charge of all of his possessions. 45 But if that servant thinks to himself, "My master is going to be late in coming," and begins to beat the male and female servants and to eat and drink and get drunk, 46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour that he does not know, and will cut him to pieces and put him with the unfaithful servants. 47 And the slave who was aware of his master's will but did not prepare himself or act in accordance with it will be severely beaten.

But the one who did not know and committed the action that merited a beating will be given a milder version of the punishment. Everyone who was given much will be required to give even more, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand even more in return.

The only thing the Ninevites were aware of was that their savage behavior had been brought to God's attention, and that he was about to judge them for it if they did not repent. The fact that the Uratu people and their allies had conquered territory that was less than 160 kilometers (100 miles) to the north of Nineveh may have contributed to the sense of urgency associated with the message. The remainder of the chapter reveals the depth to which they professed their contrition.

Imagine for a moment that the Holy Spirit was responsible for bringing conviction to our country. What would happen if, for the next thirty days, everything came to a complete halt—stores were shut down, and entertainment was discontinued—while people knelt in prayer and wept for the callousness of their hearts and the depths to which the country has sunk? There are countries (BRICS Coalition)that are plotting to wipe us out just like Assyria did.

We ought to be pouring out our hearts to God, reforming our own ways, and praying that the nation realizes where we are headed if we continue to arrogantly defy Jesus. In addition, we ought to pray that the nation will realize where we are headed. "To HELL As A Nation"

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
