Old Testament Sin- Was it just covered? Or was Israel sanctified and forgiven? Lev.4:35

And what would make someone teach that it was only covered if the Bible says it was forgiven? In Lev.4:32-35 we read how sin was dealt with through the sacrifices under the law. WE DO NOT IMPUTE SIN WHEN WE LOVE AS GOD DOES

Edward O’Hara Do you believe that God is love as John says in 1John4:7,8? And that because He is love He loves just as He instructs His children to? If you do then you must also believe that His forgiveness is given as freely as He tells us to forgive. Because to forgive is an expression of His love. That He does not hold trespasses against us just as He instructs us not to hold them against one another. The question is, is this a good method to use for finding truth? My answer to that is, what other way is there? Not in a hateful or rebellious way. But, in an inquiring way. This is a contradiction if we are all still supposed to keep the law. Where does condemnation come from? Where does guilt come from? Why was it that Adam and Eve were only afraid after they disobeyed God? Why didn’t they feel condemned or ashamed? Oh, you thought they did feel shame after eating the fruit? Edward O’Hara… Is the whole world experiencing peace and safety? Or is there turmoil and insecurity? No doubt there is the latter. But, Paul gives us great hope in these last days. He gives instruction in 1Thes.5:3 that says the world will be saying peace and safety just before sudden destruction. So what is really going on? Jesus said in Mt.24:37 that as it was in the days of Noah so it shall be at the time of the coming of the Son of man. Jesus also made a similar statement regarding the days of Lot in Luke17:28. For the serious student of the Bible it seems that when they get off track it is most often because they do not come to a clear Biblical understanding of where the law fits in the believer’s life. Or if they have they have placed it where God never meant it to be. Because the law is to have no place in the believer’s life at all. None whatsoever.
