There was an old man I shared breakfast with most every morning at the local café, he was 96 and told of finding buffalo skulls as a kid off toward a neighboring community. This old man shared many stories about all sorts of experiences, like being a night walker on the pipeline back in 1935 to check for leaks. Said he killed 10-12 rattlers every night with the light of a coal oil lamp. I asked him about the good ole days and he said nix on that “no such thing”. He says “Why I wouldn’t go back to those times for the world” “Air Conditioning” “Best thing ever happened” says he. Well I truly have to agree, living where I did and still do and growing up without air conditioning was gruesome.
That 10 inch oscillating fan didn’t do much, just kept the mosquitoes blown away. But life was grand and the freedom can’t be described to younger kids. It was a Tom Sawyer kind of life then, barefoot catching frogs to catch fish, learning to provide your own food as a small kid. Learning to hunt bare foot like an Indian with bow and arrow, chase the dog in the dark of night after coons, to take a blade of grass and call a fox, in essence to live life. Looking back I just can’t say enough about it nor figure out where people went wrong. I still live on the same place, live under the same oak tree, this place has been in our family since 1936 and I expect I’ll try to keep it till we’ve had it 100 years or so.
I’ve been here long enough to see all my old friends die off and be replaced by folks from town that’s got a good idea about making it better. It doesn’t take long and you’re outnumbered and Change comes. I’ve witnessed so called change first hand and when their grandiose ideas flop, so do they, off they go, sell out and leave the collateral damage behind. Small places like this one have a heartbeat some might refer to it as a click but it’s not, it’s a heartbeat, that’s clear to see for those that can, and change in this beat disturbs the health of the community as a whole. Today I can’t believe my eyes, I can’t believe my ears, and I can’t believe what the younger people are thinking.
Just a very short time ago all they thought about was bicycles, girls and a milk shake. Then all of a sudden they become activated and are lead off on a cause to change things, tear down the statues, destroy history, an old way of thinking to make way for the new way, erase all history. They fail to understand in their own ignorance, what history has written for 2020. Where did people go wrong, in the home, in the schools, in the community, in the church? Media, I think, lie after lie after lie. With global herding in place, military involved in inoculation, will they can’t even cure the common cold, we most likely will never return to a normal life, the life you remembered with a smile. If we hadn’t gone lax in our moral standards, lost our faith, we would still be the country that everyone admired. But perhaps we were, even in our moral decay, the best country on earth and that’s why we are under attack. COVID came in time to shut down Easter, weaken family, breakdown communities, breakdown social structure and to self-incarcerate the un-woke. If you do leave your children in the public school system, understand that you will have a difficult task ahead of you to offset the political correctness being instilled in your children. You will need to take a more active role in what your children are learning and help them overcome the indoctrination they’re receiving. Talk regularly with your children about what they are learning in their classes and help them ask questions about what they’re learning and to seek valid answers to their questions.
Of course, if you’re not awake yourself to the agenda being waged against you and your children, it will be almost impossible to resist it.

The controllers of the world know that in order to dominate and control the masses, the easiest way to accomplish this goal is to keep the people divided amongst themselves. Rather than expending valuable resources to conquer a society, the controllers instead pit one another against their neighbors and let them fight amongst themselves, thus destroying their unity. I think the War on Terrorism has created a huge divide among the people of the world. George Bush put it this way, “You are either with us or you’re against us.” Instead of seeing Islam as a huge field for sewing the gospel, Americans have instead seen that people group as an enemy.
We can no longer allow our “love to grow cold” and to retreat into tribalism and hatred.
We need to understand that all the problems we face have a common denominator. When we focus efforts on our particular pet project at the expense of others… that keeps us divided. Once you begin to focus on the common enemy, all else begins to make more sense and you become empowered to make better choices.

Great article! We know that kids always think the time when they were growing up was the good ole days. Because their minds are not filled with the goings on in gov’t and the morality of the culture. It’s when we grow up that we begin to see things as they really are. And Paul said these perilous times were coming. Not because the true church dropped the ball. But, because evil men will wax worse and worse breaking down the foundations. Causing these perilous times to manifest themselves so “what can the righteous do”?(Ps.11:3) It is only the return of Jesus that breaks the yoke of bondage that has come, and is growing stronger, upon the world.

We should encourage whatever talents each person has and allow them the opportunity to express those talents in a way of each person’s choosing.

It is true that we are all humans on this planet and God’s creation. But, we are not all brothers and sisters. As a Christian that monicker is reserved for those who have trusted in Jesus and His resurrection. Whether Jew or Gentile etc… but, all who have rejected Jesus are children of the devil.
