Daily Devotional:

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie...

The Thessalonians were filled with worry, fearing that they had somehow overlooked the arrival of the long-awaited event. Paul warned them about an impending decline and the eventual revelation of a figure of evil. Then he proceeded to describe to them what that experience would entail. He referred to him as the lawless one and warned of the potential for deceptive miracles, signs, and wonders. There is a higher power at work, providing solace for those who reject the truth. This process has always been in motion, but it will intensify before the anticipated arrival of Christ.

When individuals reject the truth, they may be led astray by a compelling deception, causing them to embrace falsehood. Embracing the truth and becoming a child of divine existence is an extraordinary honor. Those who choose not to accept it—those who turn away from the opportunity of redemption—will be provided with an alternative they can have faith in.

It occurs in the present, but in a more subtle manner. There are numerous misguided beliefs that offer the illusion of personal growth while allowing you to maintain control over your own life. These belief systems are rooted in arrogance and self-centeredness. These two vices seem to have an irresistible allure for mankind. There are deceptive falsehoods specifically crafted to cater to these cravings. Those who are unwilling to embrace the truth readily embrace it.

It can also occur in small ways in a believer's life. When the Spirit brings attention to an aspect of our lives that we have yet to surrender to the authority of Christ, we often find ourselves making justifications and rationalizations for why it's acceptable to maintain control. There is a higher power at work, guiding us through life's challenges and ensuring that we confront our own truths.

Conform in this: Those who reject embracing the truth are presented with a falsehood. Those who seek the truth are constantly faced with challenges until they choose to let go of the falsehoods that continue to exist.

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
