According to an interview with Germany’s Welt, Angelique Coetzee, the doctor who identified the Omicron Covid-19 strain, was persuaded by European governments not to mention that it had a benign appearance.
“I was warned not to declare publicly that it was a slight sickness,” Coetzee said when asked if it was true. I’ve been told to keep my mouth shut and to emphasize that this is a terrible condition. “I said no.” (translated).
Welt said, “What does that mean?”
“As a doctor, there are no signs that we are dealing with a life-threatening condition based on the clinical picture.” The majority of the route is gentle. I’m not implying that if you’re mild, you won’t get sick.

“I commented at one time – because I was tired of it – that this is a slight sickness in South Africa, but it is a very serious condition in Europe.” That’s exactly what your legislators wanted to hear.”
Coetzee claims she was not forced by South African authorities, but rather by experts in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, who questioned, “How can you explain that it’s a minor disease?” It’s a serious condition. Take a look at the changes.”
