Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is suing FEMA officials for allegedly discriminating against pro-Trump Florida hurricane victims.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is suing FEMA officials for allegedly discriminating against pro-Trump Florida hurricane victims.

In a website news release, Moody claimed she is taking “swift action” by filing a lawsuit alleging Trump supporters’ civil rights violations. The claim demands unspecified damages.

The Daily Wire reported earlier this month that at least one Federal Emergency Management Agency official ordered her personnel not to canvass Trump supporters’ houses after Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

FEMA fired supervisor Marn’i Washington, calling it an isolated incident.

Washington later indicated the incident was not isolated. This is a massive avoidance event in Florida and the Carolinas.

She continued, “Senior leadership will lie to you and say they do not know, but if you ask the [Disaster Survivor Assistance] crew leads and specialists what they are experiencing in the field, they will tell you.
