2 Corinthians 5:7-8, 10 7 We live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Paul concentrated on things he couldn’t see every day because he was so certain of what was about to happen. He should have left his body behind and gone to be with the perfected Christ rather than remaining on this planet. All of his decisions, all of his aspirations, and even his ideas were predicated on something he was unable to see. He led a life based on his faith.

What was the reason behind his intense concern about the future and the invisible world? He was certain that everyone would have to go before God. Many Christians are unaware that their life, like everyone else’s, will be scrutinized. The distinction is that when our lives are reexamined, the sins that Christ’s blood covered will not be revealed.

It’s removed by washing. Our actions in this life will determine what we receive in the next. Our eternal residence will be determined by our actions with Christ. Our actions with His life within us will determine what is owed to us. God keeps a record. Although His Spirit is full of goodness, He still respects us when we work together with Him.

Paul believed he would uncover something really precious, which is why he was excited to attend. More than he wanted to stay and settle his debts, he wanted to go and be with Jesus.

Which is your compass-faith or what you can see? What directs your decisions, aspirations, desires, and even thoughts? Which is more real-the world you’ll never see or the stuff you can see? Do you really want to go and claim your reward since you care so much about it?

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the “Tribulation” tab on our “Trending” menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, “But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.” Click here to begin the journey.
