GOD’S TRUTH CONQUERED THE LIES OF SATAN THEN… AND STILL CAN FOR YOU TODAY- COL.2:12-15
Original sin doctrine says Adam hid from God because he was ashamed.
And any attempt to make these mean the same thing is an effort in futility. Things that are different are not the same no matter how badly one wants them to be.
Biblical doctrine- Because men have free will- Joshua24:15- and are just as Adam was when he was made- 1Cor.15:45-48, if a man is a sinner it is by choice. And is not a sinner either by inheritance of Adam's sin(Rom.5:13), or by imputation of their own- 2Cor.5:19.
But, Original sin says- Because men inherit the sin of Adam they are sinners by nature so that men are pedophiles, homosexuals, murderers, rapists, thieves, whoremongers, and liars because God made them that way. And only those God chooses to give grace to are saved. While God has damned the rest to hell from conception.
Biblical doctrine- Jesus died to bring an end to the law. Heb.9:13-15. And so that His resurrection would conquer death so that all mortal men could made to be immortal. Heb.2:14,15
Original sin- Jesus died to pay the penalty for sin because only the bloody and torturous death of the innocent can appease God's wrath.
(I want to add here that it is not strange that this sounds just like the sacrifice to Moloch... because by definition it is in actuality and practice a sacrifice to Moloch.)
Biblical doctrine- Because all men have free will God is just when He judges them for either heaven or the lake of fire based upon their trust in or rejection of Jesus and His gift of eternal life. Rom.5:15-21.
Original sin- Because men are sinners by a nature they inherited from Adam they are all therefore condemned to the lake of fire.
Biblical doctrine- God loves all men He has ever made and it is His desire for all men to be saved. 2Peter3:9. And whosoever will believe in Him will not be condemned, but shall be saved. John3:16,17
Original sin- Unless they are among the few God has chosen to go to heaven they are otherwise predestinated for eternal damnation. And there is nothing anyone can do about it because of God's sovereign will.
(I will add that original sin's god is a god of hate and is not just in his judgments because this doctrine teaches that men are condemned through no fault of their own. But, instead are condemned by this false god's sovereign will.)
Biblical doctrine- Isaiah53 says Jesus was stricken and smitten of God. The people who were saying this were those who were watching and cooperating in His death. Because they believed Him to be a liar and a blasphemer. So they believed that He was getting what He deserved(Mt.27:30).
When the Biblical reason Jesus suffered and died is that Jesus was "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it."- Col.2:14,15. And He was "wounded for our(Israel's) transgressions, he was bruised for our(Israel's) iniquities: the chastisement of our(Israel's) peace was upon him; and with his stripes we(Israelites) are healed."
Original sin- Agrees with those who said Jesus was a blasphemer that it was God that struck and smited Jesus. Believing that this was necessary to pay man's penalty for their sin to appease God's wrath.
Shame is emphasized in all cult beliefs to make people feel guilty for their bad behavior. Because works, and not faith, must be the focus.
Works appeal to the flesh. And guilt being satan's favorite tool against someone coming to a true and saving faith in Jesus. Because it makes them look at works as both the problem and the solution to their condemnation and guilt. Which is a sure recipe for eternal damnation. Because in fact the answer is grace through faith without works.
But, this is contrary to what has become the "official narrative". The doctrine of original sin and sin nature. Have you ever wondered why the official narrative is the "official narrative"? One reason might be that it's more often than not the only narrative allowed to be heard. This is how censorship works. They do not speak of that which would prove their lie is a lie. And if by chance they must they only refer to these things when speaking of those who speak of such things in derisive terms like "looney", "divisive", and the ever popular "heretic".
But, what is heresy? A Biblical definition would be that it is beliefs that are contrary to the Biblical narrative. Webster's dictionary defines it like this.
A. adherence to a religious opinion contrary to church dogma
B. denial of a revealed truth by a baptized member of the Roman Catholic Church
C. an opinion or doctrine contrary to church dogma
D. dissent or deviation from a dominant theory, opinion, or practice
E. an opinion, doctrine, or practice contrary to the truth or to generally accepted beliefs or standards
ie the official narrative
Biblical heresy means one who has separated themselves from the teachings of the apostles and prophets. And Jesus the chief cornerstone. Not some man or group of men who were never established by God as the foundation of the church.
Eph.4:19-22 says "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."
This means that whatever we do believe must be what was taught by the apostles and prophets and Jesus.
This is the only foundation we who call ourselves Bible believers are to build our house of faith on. We are not to build our faith upon those whose teachings came afterwards. No matter how eloquent their speech. And no matter how much it appeals to the flesh.
Nor are we to build our faith upon what a magisterium says is truth. No matter how pompous and pretentious their appearance. These groups are created by and inhabited by men. Men who teach false doctrine.
Because the apostles and prophets never once taught any of the things these imposters, these heretics teach. Heretics because as I showed in the opening statements what they teach is diametrically opposed to what the apostles, prophets, and Jesus taught.
We must separate ourselves from these false teachers. This is why Jesus said "Think not that I have come to bring peace. I have not come to bring peace. I have come to bring a sword". This sword is the truth that divides truth from lies. And the worship of the true God from the worship of false gods. Dividing righteousness that is of works from righteousness that is by faith.
This division is what Rev.18:4 is referring to when it says, "Come out of her my people lest you be made to partake in her sins and plagues". It could also be said "if you are my people then come out of her." She is mystery Babylon. She is the woman that rides the beast. The woman that is that great city that reigned over the kings of the earth when John wrote Revelation. She is the Roman Catholic religion.
Paul said we are not to "give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do."
Because "the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm." 1Tim.1:4-7
The last part of this verse is most interesting because Paul says again in his 2nd epistle to Timothy that we are to "Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." 2Tim.2:22-26
This is how we who have believed the gospel taught by the apostles found only in the pages of the Bible are to know truth from heresy. By reading and studying God's word. Not man's word.
So any instructions that lead us to follow what men say rather than what God's word says must be avoided. Those "churches" that teach the doctrine of original sin and sin nature are not teaching the Bible. They are teaching the heresy of Augustine. Because rather than Paul, a man chosen by God to be His apostle. These have chosen Augustine, chosen by the pagan gnostic Roman Catholic religion, as their apostle. Citing his teachings as their doctrine of theology.
The question is for you, will you believe Jesus, the apostles, and the prophets? Or will you continue to believe the lies of Augustine's doctrine of original sin and sin nature? If you are like most of us who were taught these lies when we first came to believe in Jesus then there is a whole lot of house cleaning to do.
You must begin by believing what the Bible plainly says. And as you do this you will find all sorts of contradictions to what you have come to believe is true. God will refurbish your house with all the right furnishings. Throwing out all the lies and replacing them with the truth.
This is what Pr.24:3,4 means when it says, "Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches."
So begin to believe what the Bible plainly says and this house full of God's furnishings will be yours. Turn from righteousness of works and believe in Jesus for righteousness. As Gal.2:16 says it is the faith of Christ that is our righteousness. Not His works. Nor is it anyone's works.
So any shame you may feel for any bad things you may have done comes not from God. But from satan. This does not mean those things are not wrong. It means God does not deal with wrongdoing by condemnation. He deals with it through goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering.
This is what Paul tells us in Rom.2:4 saying, "Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?"
It is our rejection of these things from God for which vs.5 says, "But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God".
Do you have a hard heart that refuses the gift of God?
A gift that alone can deliver you from the power of death? Has your heart been hardened by the hardships you have faced in this life? If it has then know that you are not alone. Because 1Cor.10:13 says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
So whatever you have gone through know that these things are common to man. And that they are meant by satan to dissuade you from seeking God. Either by making you angry at God for allowing it. Or by convincing you that God condemns you for it.
This is why in the next verse Paul says, "Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry." Don't believe the devil when he tells you anything. He is a liar from the beginning. God did not cause the pain that has come into your life. And neither does He condemn you for choices you may have made on account of it.
God is not in the condemnation business. He is in the healing, restoration, and reconciliation business. God has not condemned you to hell by making you accountable for someone else's sin. And He does not impute to you any bad behavior you may have done. Works have nothing to do with why we need Jesus or how we are saved. Or how we stay saved. We are saved by grace through faith, not of works.
He loves us more than our finite brain can comprehend.
So receive His love and be delivered from mortality and death. Let His love make you the person He made you to be. A person who has personal loving fellowship with the God who made him. And loving relationships with those who know and love God.
In Rom.10:9,10 Paul says we do this first by confessing Jesus is Lord. And then by believing in your heart that He has raised from the dead. God will do all the rest. In fact, He already has. All you need to do is walk in the path of faith that He has already made for you.
Do this and you will have eternal life. Do this and you will pass from mortality to immortality. Do this and you will be a child of God and heir to His kingdom. Do this... and I will see you there or in the air!
