The Bible Is Quite Consistent in Its Denunciation of Homosexuality, Fornication, Adultery, and Abortion (Aka, Passing Children Through Fire to Molech). Pete Buttigieg Is Quite Consistent in His Effort to Undermine Christianity…

When the governing class finds faith inconvenient, there are two ways of proceeding: the Soviet model of trying to crush it and the Nazi model of trying to co-opt it. Presidential contender Pete Buttigieg, the self-righteous sage of South Bend, is clearly in the latter camp.

“St. Pete,” as commentator Tucker Carlson calls him, has made religious appeals a campaign cornerstone. One of his themes is that Scripture can justify prenatal infanticide — even the late-term variety — and he reiterated this claim, along with calling the Bible “inconsistent,” in a Wednesday Rolling Stone interview.

As the Washington Examiner reported Thursday:

Responding to charges that he was “picking and choosing” what the Bible teaches about certain issues, Buttigieg told Rolling Stone, “Well, I think for a lot of us — certainly for me — any encounter with Scripture includes some process of sorting out what connects you with God versus what simply tells you about the morals of the times when it was written.”

“And to me, that’s not so much cherry-picking as just being serious, because of course there are so many things in Scripture that are inconsistent internally, and you’ve got to decide what sense to make of it,” Buttigieg continued, adding, “Jesus speaks so often in hyperbole and parable, in mysterious code, that in my experience, there’s simply no way that a literal understanding of Scripture can fit into the Bible that I find in my hands.”

The 37-year-old South Bend, Indiana, the mayor reiterated his stance that the Bible potentially justifies abortion up to the point of birth because “there are so many parts of the Bible that associate the beginning of life with the breath.”

It would be interesting to ask St. Pete, a biblical scholar, to cite the passages in question. I know of none supporting his position. Yes, the Bible does often speaks of “breath.” But when it’s mentioned relating to life’s beginning, it’s generally in reference to God’s breath, as in Job 33:4’s statement that “the breath of the Almighty gives me life”; or Genesis 2:7, which reads, “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.”

In fact, the “Bible does not say life begins at ‘first breath.’ Whoever created this meme needs to read their Bible again,” states Christian education website Stand to Reason.

Scripture “says Adam came to life at first breath (Gen 2:7). Of course, this is a descriptive statement, not a prescriptive statement,” the site continues. “The author of Genesis is not telling us when all human beings come to life. The Bible doesn’t teach that every man comes to life at first breath any more than it teaches that every woman comes from the rib of a man (Gen. 2:21-22).”

In other words, since Adam was formed as an adult, his story does not relate a divine message about life in the womb because he never occupied one. As for everyone else, the biblical message seems clear: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5), “Did not he who made me in the womb make him?” (Job 31:15), and “when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb” (Luke 1:41). There are many, many other examples, too.

Now, by “you,” “me,” and “baby” did God actually mean “unviable tissue mass”?

But the Church of St. Pete is hardly the first to use and abuse Christianity to serve un-Christian ends. For example, unlike the Soviets’ overt hostility to faith, the Nazis instead conjured up their “Positive Christianity,” which held that Jesus was a Nordic character fighting a Jewish establishment.

St. Pete likewise has a flexible relationship with Scripture and Truth, and he’s quite inconsistent himself. He also said in the Rolling Stone interview that Christianity to him concerned defending the “weakest among us.” But who is weaker than a tiny baby in the womb?

Pastor Rhyan Glexman, the brother of the man St. Pete calls his “husband,” Chasten Buttigieg, has called the South Bend mayor a “modern-day Pharisee” and “a person who’s making up their [sic] own rules and regulations” — and he’s spot-on with the latter.

The real issue with Buttigieg is the same issue most people have today: He’s a moral relativist. He speaks of the “morals of the time,” but there are no such things. There can be values of the time. There can be preferences, prejudices, and politics of the time. But “morals,” properly understood, refer to unchangeable, eternal, universal principles of right and wrong; they reflect Truth, Divine Law. Speaking of the morals of the time is like dismissing God as just the god of the time — which, of course, the comparative-religion Left also does all the time.

That Buttigieg — who now leads the Democrat field in Iowa and New Hampshire polling — departs from this makes his message all the more dangerous. Nazi tyrant Adolf Hitler was not a man of faith (he did assume that pose sometimes, though), but he believed that a prerequisite for a political movement’s success was having a religious foundation. Thus did he indulge that Positive Christianity while trying to forge a new Germanic pagan religion.

Along with being intelligent, articulate, and relatively engaging, Buttigieg seems to have had the same realization. Instead of ignoring faith, why not employ the seduction of a false prophet?

So we certainly can call St. Pete and his acolytes the Christian Left — they’ve left the idea of being Christian. Source

Since perverted sex is used to worship evil gods, demons come into the person’s body and are very difficult to keep out after being cast out. All of the pagan cults were worshipers of demons and served their gods by partaking of impure sex. If we have been trained to worship in some manner as a very young person, it is very hard for us to give up these wrong ways of worship.

This is because demons come into us when we do acts of worship that are incorrect and they have no intention of giving up their home. In the last generation, we have witnessed the attacks of Satan beginning earlier and earlier. It is his desire to get the very young children to commit some sexual sin which carries a curse. There are curses that go on for as long as ten generations, such as sex with family members, those near kin to you, playing with animals sexually, rape and homosexuality, etc. This portion of scripture, Romans 1:21-32, shows the descent of men as they turn away from God, for it says they knew Him. As you hear these verses check them for accuracy as to what you see in the homosexuals you know. If you are one look at yourself honestly. 21. Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead, they become futile (worthless, ineffectual and vain) and godless in their thinking – with vain imagining, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations – and their senseless minds were darkened. 22. Claiming to be wise, they become fools – professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves. 23. And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles. 447 24. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their (own) hearts to sexual impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, abandoning them to the degrading power of sin. 25. Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever! Amen – so be it (Jer. 2:11.) 26.

For this reason, God gave them over to an abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural one; 27. And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burned out,, consumed) with lust with one another, men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrongdoing and going astray, which was (their) fitting retribution. 28. And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do those things not proper or decent but loathsome; 29. Until they were filled – permeated and saturated – with every kind of unrighteousness, iniquity, grasping and covetous greed, and malice. (They were) full of envy and jealousy, murder, ill will, and cruel ways. (They were) secret backbiters and gossipers. 30. Slanderers, hateful to and hating God, full of insolence, arrogance, and boasting; inventors of new forms of evil, disobedient and undutiful to parents. 31. (They were) without understanding, covenant-breakers, conscienceless and faithless, heartless and loveless (and) merciless. 32. Though they are fully aware of God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them.

This portion of scripture describes homosexuals exactly. There are two ways to save yourself from this kind of life: (1) Never, not even once engage in homosexuality. (2) If you have engaged in homosexuality, you may sincerely repent of your sin acknowledging your guilt, believe Jesus’ promise that all who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved from their sins and forgive all people who have ever done you any wrong. Recognize the attempts homosexual spirits in people will try to get you into it again. Determine what you will fight the good fight of faith and never allow yourself even the appearance of that sin. Change any wrong behavior patterns, repent of wrong thoughts and correct them according to the Bible. Change your body movements and action from effeminate to manly or if you are female to feminine. HERALD OF HOPE – “When the disciples asked the Lord what would be the sign of His coming again, He replied by giving them a number of signs, and one of them was pestilences (Luke 21:11). This 20th century has seen some devastating epidemics or pestilences. The flu epidemic of 1918-19 has been estimated to have accounted for 10,000,000 lives. The cancer scourge still continues to take its toll of human life throughout the world. Now the world is faced with an epidemic, which according to one authority will make previous epidemics such as typhus, smallpox or even the black death ‘look very pale by comparison.’ Time magazine says concerning the bubonic plague of the 14th century, ‘by the time the epidemic sub- 448 sided a few years later, at least a quarter to a third of all Europeans – perhaps 25 million – had perished.’ Then adds the Time article, ‘Today’s plague is a very different beast. AIDS works its way through a population slowly, over a period of years and even decades.

It also tends to kill slowly, laying waste the immune system so that patients fall prey to a debilitating succession of infections. Yet as the AIDS death toll climbs and statisticians project its probable course into the next decade, comparisons with history’s greatest killers begin to make sense. If we can’t make progress, we face the dreadful prospect of a worldwide death toll in the tens of millions a decade from now.’ So far the worst-hit countries are in Central and East Africa. According to the Times in another article, ‘In Uganda, the number of AIDS victims is doubling every four to six months.’ Says Dr. Samuel Okware, the Ministry of Health official in charge of Uganda’s AIDS prevention program, “In the year 2000, one in every two sexually active adults will be infected.” Leading researchers believe at least 50,000 people have already died of AIDS in Africa, and unless a treatment and vaccine are found, a million and a half more may succumb over the next decade. The first cases of AIDS arose among African prostitutes in the late 1970s. At about the same time, it first appeared among Americans and Haitians. The disease has now spread to some thirty African countries.

Few seem to recognize this tragedy as the judgment of God upon sin. The thrust of public opinion and effort is how to beat the disease, but there seems little effort to remove the real cause, illicit sex. God is doing what He said He would do. ‘Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge’ (Heb. 13:4). And homosexuality will reap its own consequences as Paul tells us, ‘For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature, and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly; and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet’ (Rom. 1:26-27). AIDS may be a very terrible disease, but is it any more terrible than the sin that caused it? There seems to be some thought that the present scare may lead to a return to continence and monogamy, the only safe ground.

This, however, seems impossible while the present immodesty and sexual license prevail. One of the most serious factors confronting those attempting to control the disease is the indifference of some. Time mentions a case in point, ‘A frank lecture last year to a group of medical students at the University of Zambia on the dangers was greeted with jeers and derision.’ While the world may be terrorized by the present scare, the Christian can look up and see in it a further sign that the Lord is coming.

SURGEON GENERAL’S REPORT ON AIDS This is a report from the Surgeon General of the US Public Health Service to the people of the United States on AIDS. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is an epidemic that has already killed thousands of people, mostly young, productive Americans. In addition to illness, disability, and death, AIDS has brought fear to the hearts of most Americans – fear of disease and fear of the unknown. Initial reporting of AIDS occurred in the United States, but AIDS and the spread of the AIDS virus is an international problem. This report focuses on prevention that could be applied in all countries. Excerpts 1. AIDS is caused by a virus. 2. There is presently no cure for AIDS. 3. AIDS virus invades the bloodstream. 4. Some people remain apparently well after infection with the AIDS virus. 5. ARC, AIDS-Related Complex, is a condition caused by the AIDS virus in which the patient tests positive for AIDS infection. 6. Only a qualified health professional can diagnose AIDS. 7. The AIDS virus may also attack the nervous system and cause delayed damage to the brain. 8. The number of people estimated to be infected with the AIDS virus in the United States is about 1.5 million. All of these individuals are assumed to be capable of spreading the virus sexually (heterosexually or homosexually) or by sharing needles and syringes or other implements for intravenous drug use.

Of these, an estimated 100,000 to 200,000 will come down with ARC. It is difficult to predict the number who will develop ARC or AIDS because symptoms sometimes take as long as nine years to show up. With our present knowledge, scientists predict that 20 to 30 percent of those infected with the AIDS virus will develop an illness that fits an accepted definition of AIDS within five years. The number of persons known to have AIDS in the United States to date is over 25,000; of these, about half have died of the disease. Since there is no cure, the others are expected to also eventually die from their disease. 9. The majority of infected antibody-positive individuals who carry the AIDS virus show no disease symptoms and may not come down with the disease for many years, if ever. 10. There is no risk from casual contact. 450 11. Only health workers who had accidentally stuck themselves with a needle were exposed to the AIDS virus. 12. Control of certain behaviors can stop further spread of AIDS. 13. At-risk is homosexual, heterosexual, black, white, male, female and children. 14. Men who have sexual relations with other men are especially at risk. Infection results from a sexual relationship with an infected person. 15. The risk of infection increases according to the number of sexual partners one has, male or female. 16. A person acquires the virus during sexual contact with an infected person’s blood or semen and possibly vaginal secretions. 17. Couples who maintain mutually faithful monogamous relationships (a continuing sexual partner) are protected from AIDS through sexual transmission. 18. You can protect yourself from infection. If you have been involved in any of the high-risk activities, you should have a blood test. If you or your partner are at risk, you must use a condom during intercourse to protect each other. Avoid mouth contact with the penis, vagina or rectum (oral sex is sodomy before God). Avoid all sexual activities which could cause cuts or tears in the linings of the vagina or penis. Single teenage girls and boys, by saying NO to sex and drugs, can avoid AIDS which can kill them! Do not have sex with prostitutes. 19. Drug abusers who inject drugs into their veins are another population group at high risk and with high rates of infection by the AIDS virus. 20. Some persons with hemophilia (a blood clotting disorder that makes them subject to bleeding) have been infected with the AIDS virus either through blood transfusion or the use of blood products that help their blood to clot. 21. Currently, all blood donors are initially screened and blood is not accepted from high-risk individuals. 22. The mother can infect the unborn child. 23. AIDS affects certain groups of the population.

Homosexual and bisexual males who have had sexual contact with other homosexual or bisexual males as well as those who ‘shoot’ street drugs are at greatest risk of exposure, infection and eventual death. Sexual partners of these high-risk individuals are at risk, as well as any children born to women who carry the virus. Heterosexual persons are increasingly at risk. 24. You cannot get AIDS from casual social contact. Casual social contact should not be confused with casual sexual contact which is a major cause of the spread of the AIDS virus. 451 25. You cannot get AIDS by donating blood. 26. Because antibodies do not form immediately after exposure to the virus, a newly infected person may unknowingly donate blood after becoming infected but before his/her antibody test becomes positive. 27. None of the identified cases of AIDS in the United States are known or are suspected to have been transmitted from one child to another in school, daycare, or foster care settings. 28. There are no known cases of AIDS transmission by insects, such as mosquitoes. 29. Dogs, cats, and domestic animals are not a source of infection from the AIDS virus. 30. Although the AIDS virus has been found in tears and saliva, no instance of transmission from these body fluids has been reported. 31. AIDS comes from sexual contact with infected persons, and from the sharing of syringes and needles. 32. Live virus vaccines could activate disease and be potentially life-threatening to those who are AIDS virus carriers. 33. Although AIDS is still a mysterious disease in many ways, our scientists have learned a great deal about it. 34. We still do not know why the AIDS virus is not destroyed by man’s immune system. 35. AIDS no longer is the concern of anyone segment of society; it is the concern of us all. No American’s life is in danger if he/she or their sexual partners do not engage in high-risk sexual behavior, or use shared needles or syringes to inject illicit drugs into the body. 36. People who engage in high-risk sexual behavior or who shoot drugs are risking infection with the AIDS virus, and are risking their lives and the lives of others, including their unborn children. 37. We cannot yet know the full impact of AIDS on our society. From a clinical point of view, there may be new manifestations of AIDS – for example, mental disturbances due to the infection of the brain by the AIDS virus in carriers of the virus. From a social point of view, it may bring to an end the free-wheeling sexual life-style which has been called the sexual revolution.

Economically, the care of AIDS patients will put a tremendous strain on our already overburdened and costly health care delivery system. 38. The most certain way to avoid getting the AIDS virus and to control the AIDS epidemic in the United States is for individuals to avoid promiscuous sexual practices, to maintain mutual faithful monogamous sexual relationships and to avoid injecting illicit drugs. 39. AIDS is bound to produce profound changes in our society, changes that will affect us all. 452 40. Information and education are the only weapons against AIDS. 41. The changes in our society will be economic and political and will affect our social institutions, our educational practices, and our health care. 42. Be prepared; learn as much about AIDS as you can. 43. It is likely that cases of AIDS will appear far and wide. 44. There are special educational concerns for adolescents and illiterate. 45. The high risk should get a blood test. 46. Some people afflicted with AIDS will feel a sense of anger and others a sense of guilt. 47. Current public health practice is to protect the privacy of the individual infected with the AIDS virus and to maintain the strictest confidentiality concerning his/her health records. 48. Ensure enforcement of public health regulation of such practices as ear piercing and tattooing to prevent transmission of the AIDS virus. 49. Conduct AIDS education programs for police, firemen, correctional institution workers and emergency medical personnel for dealing with AIDS victims and the public. 50. Ensure that institutions catering to children or adults who soil themselves or their surroundings with urine, stool, and vomitus have adequate equipment for cleanup and disposal, and have policies to ensure the practice of good hygiene. 51. Schools will have special problems in the future. 52. Education concerning AIDS must start at the lowest grade possible as part of any health and hygienic program. 53. Because of the right to special education of the handicapped and the mentally retarded, school boards and higher authorities will have to provide guidelines for the management of such children on a case-by-case basis. 54. Labor and management can do much to prepare for AIDS so that misinformation is kept to a minimum. 55. Offices, factories, and other work sites should have a plan in operation for the education of the workforce and accommodation of AIDS or ARC patients before the first such case appears at the worksite. 56. The health care system in many places will be overburdened as it is now in urban areas with large numbers of AIDS patients. 453 57. Our society will also face an additional burden as we better understand the mental health implications of infection by the AIDS virus. 58. Controversial issues are compulsory blood testing, quarantine and identification of AIDS carriers by some visible sign. 59. Compulsory blood testing of individuals is not necessary and could give a false sense of security to the individual recently exposed to the AIDS virus.

The only time that some form of quarantine might be indicated is in a situation where an individual carrying the AIDS virus knowingly and willingly continues to expose others through sexual contact or sharing drug equipment. AIDS should not be used as an excuse to discriminate against any group or individual. AIDS must and will be treated as a disease that can infect anyone.” 3. One night during final exams at Harvard College, I complained to a friend over dinner that I had a fifteen-page paper due the next day and hadn’t started writing it yet. “Just bullshit,” he advised. “It’s the Harvard way.”

That advice came to mind as I tried to make sense of what South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg — a fellow Harvard graduate — told an interviewer recently about whether he would be willing to send troops to Mexico.

It seemed to me that he answered the question by saying everything — and also nothing. Classic Harvard bullshit:

Q: Mr. Mayor, after a number of Americans were murdered in Northern Mexico, President Trump suggested sending U.S. troops to help Mexico deal with the cartels. With your military experience, is there a way to deal with the cartels that doesn’t violate Mexico’s sovereignty?

Buttigieg: Well, one of the biggest things I learned during my time deployed abroad is the importance of our alliances, our friendships. And this president, needless to say, has destroyed just about every relationship he can find. That makes America less safe. Whether it is turning our back on Kurdish allies, who put their lives on the line to help us fight ISIS, or right here in our own hemisphere, alienating those very countries that we need to have a better partnership with. Remember, it is in the interest of both the United States and Mexico for Mexico to prosper with greater economic success and security then they have right now. So, if it is in the context of a security partnership, then I would welcome ways to make sure that America is doing what we can to ensure that our neighbor to the south is secure. But doing it in a way that calls into question Mexican sovereignty completely misses how we got here. By the way, a lot of this is a question of the demand side on the United States. Part of what we do is make drug trafficking less profitable by walking away from the failed war on drugs here in the United States. That is a policy that we know through experience hasn’t worked. We have got to do our part here at home, and partner with countries abroad.

Q: But Mayor, specifically — do you see a time when troops can go into Mexico, if Mexico welcomed it, for instance?

Buttigieg: There is a scenario where we could have security cooperation — as we do with countries around the world. Now, I would only order American troops into conflict if there were no other choice, if American lives were on the line, and if this were necessary for us to uphold our treaty obligations. But we could absolutely be in some partnership role if, and only if, it is welcomed by our partner south of the border.

To summarize: he would only send troops in if American lives were at stake. But as a matter of fact, American lives are at stake, which is exactly what the interviewer said in her question. He sounded smart but actually said nothing.

It was so confusing that when Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) attacked him at the Democrat debate on Wednesday night in Atlanta, Georgia, for what he said about Mexico, Buttigieg fired back that he was talking about “cooperation,” not an invasion. They were both right: his answer covered every option.

When he was asked if he would keep farm subsidies in place, Buttigieg said that the trade war with China “shouldn’t have been started in the first place.” Then he started a riff about climate change and something he called a “carbon negative farm.”

It’s not clear how to fight climate change without confronting China, the world’s dirtiest economy. Regardless, Moderator Rachel Maddow noticed that Buttigieg hadn’t answered the question, and asked it again: “Would you continue those subsidies or not?”

His answer: “Yes, but we won’t need them because we’re going to fix the trade war.” So — all of those words, and in the end, he agreed with Trump’s current policy, anyway.

When he was asked about his struggle to reach African-Americans, he agreed — and then went on to say … something (via NBC):

My response is, I completely agree. And I welcome the challenge of connecting with black voters in America who don’t yet know me.

And before I share what’s in my plans, let me talk about what’s in my heart and why this is so important. As mayor of a city that is racially diverse and largely low income, for eight years, I have lived and breathed the successes and struggles of a community where far too many people live with the consequences of racial inequity that has built-up over centuries but been compounded by policies and decisions from within living memory.

I care about this because my faith teaches me that salvation has to do with how I make myself useful to those who have been excluded, marginalized, and cast aside and oppressed in society.

And I care about this because, while I do not have the experience of ever having been discriminated against because of the color of my skin, I do have the experience of sometimes feeling like a stranger in my own country, turning on the news and seeing my own rights come up for debate, and seeing my rights expanded by a coalition of people like me and people not at all like me, working side by side, shoulder to shoulder, making it possible for me to be standing here. Wearing this wedding ring in a way that couldn’t have happened two elections ago lets me know just how deep my obligation is to help those whose rights are on the line every day, even if they are nothing like me in their experience.

In other words: I am struggling to connect to black voters, but also I am gay, which is not black but sort of like it.

It was a non-response. He showcased his erudition but said nothing about how he would address the problem. (His solution seems to involve sucking up to Al Sharpton, despite his history of racism, antisemitism, and homophobia.)

Outside the debate, I interviewed some of Buttigieg’s supporters, who formed the single largest contingent of any campaign in Atlanta. I asked them each the same simple question: what has Mayor Pete actually achieved?

None of them could answer. That is because there is no answer. He has a great résumé — and no achievements.

James Freeman of the Wall Street Journal wondered aloud why Buttigieg’s rivals weren’t making more of the fact that his record as mayor in South Bend isn’t much of a record at all:

Mr. Buttigieg will depart the mayor’s office in January at the conclusion of his second four-year term. He’s set to leave South Bend a dangerous place with an extremely high murder rate for a city its size.

Good intensions are nice. But Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D., Minn.) isn’t the only one wondering how far Mr. Buttigieg can go without delivering much in the way of positive results.

Regardless, Buttigieg now leads in the polls in Iowa and New Hampshire, even though he trails badly nationwide. He is modeling his strategy after that of Obama, who used an early win in Iowa to shock the field and win the nomination.

But the country is still wondering whether it was worth electing a politician who had never really run anything before, and whose main qualification for office was his oratorical skill. Trump is a bullshitter — the very best bullshitter ever! — but at least he had a reputation for success.

For now, Buttigieg just offers more Harvard bullshit. Source

Buttigieg, Pence trade barbs over their Christian faith

While the Bible does address homosexuality, it does not explicitly mention gay marriage/same-sex marriage. It is clear, however, that the Bible condemns homosexuality as an immoral and unnatural sin. Leviticus 18:22 identifies homosexual sex as an abomination, a detestable sin. Romans 1:26-27 declares homosexual desires and actions to be shameful, unnatural, lustful, and indecent. First Corinthians 6:9 states that homosexuals are unrighteous and will not inherit the kingdom of God. Since both homosexual desires and actions are condemned in the Bible, it is clear that homosexuals “marrying” is not God’s will, and would be, in fact, sinful.

Whenever the Bible mentions marriage, it is between a male and a female. The first mention of marriage, Genesis 2:24, describes it as a man leaving his parents and being united to his wife. In passages that contain instructions regarding marriage, such as 1 Corinthians 7:2-16 and Ephesians 5:23-33, the Bible clearly identifies marriage as being between a man and a woman. Biblically speaking, marriage is the lifetime union of a man and a woman, primarily for the purpose of building a family and providing a stable environment for that family.

Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg extended his week-long, faith-related war of words with Mike Pence Friday, pointing to the vice president’s policies that “discriminate” against gay and lesbian Americans.

Buttigieg, who went from virtual unknown to the budding political phenomenon in just weeks, has mentioned Pence — the former governor of his home state, Indiana — multiple times in recent speeches.

In a recent address to an LGBTQE organization, the rising Democratic star said his same-sex marriage had brought him “closer to God.”

“I don’t have a problem with religion, I’m religious too. I have a problem with religion being used as a justification to harm people,” Buttigieg, who if elected would be America’s first gay president, told NBC’s The Ellen Show.

Buttigieg claims to have more than 65,000 donors to his campaign. That number qualifies him to be on the stage for the first Democratic primary debate.

Keep in mind that Buttigieg is not hiding his homosexuality as he rises in the polls.

He is openly gay and married to his husband.

What is really incredible about his political rise is that he already has people who condemn homosexuality on the defensive.

That includes Vice President Mike Pence who opposes gay sex in the name of religious principle. As governor of Indiana, Pence backed a law to allow merchants to refuse to serve gays if they felt doing so violated the teachings of their faith.

Pence contends Buttigieg is trying to silence Christians who oppose homosexuality as a matter of their faith.

“I’m not interested in feuding with the vice president. But if he wanted to clear this up, he could come out today and say he’s changed his mind, that it shouldn’t be legal to discriminate against anybody in this country for who they are.”

Buttigieg, 37, has been mayor of South Bend, Indiana for seven years, while Pence was governor until joining Donald Trump as number two on the ticket in 2016.

The political opponents worked together on common-ground issues like infrastructure but clashed over a 2015 religious freedom bill signed by Pence that Buttigieg and others warned allowed people to discriminate on religious grounds.

Pence pushed back against Buttigieg’s recent remarks, telling CNN that “he said some things that are critical of my Christian faith, and about me personally, and he knows better.”

The Bible alone, however, does not have to be used to demonstrate this understanding of marriage. The biblical viewpoint of marriage has been the universal understanding of marriage in every human civilization in world history. History argues against gay marriage. Modern secular psychology recognizes that men and women are psychologically and emotionally designed to complement one another. In regard to the family, psychologists contend that a union between a man and woman in which both spouses serve as good gender role models is the best environment in which to raise well-adjusted children. Psychology argues against gay marriage. In nature/physicality, clearly, men and women were designed to “fit” together sexually. With the “natural” purpose of sexual intercourse being procreation, clearly only a sexual relationship between a man and a woman can fulfill this purpose. Nature argues against gay marriage.

So, if the Bible, history, psychology, and nature all argue for marriage being between a man and a woman—why is there such a controversy today? Why are those who are opposed to gay marriage/same-sex marriage labeled as hateful, intolerant bigots, no matter how respectfully the opposition is presented? Why is the gay rights movement so aggressively pushing for gay marriage/same-sex marriage when most people, religious and non-religious, are supportive of—or at least far less opposed to—gay couples having all the same legal rights as married couples with some form of civil union?

The answer, according to the Bible, is that everyone inherently knows that homosexuality is immoral and unnatural, and the only way to suppress this inherent knowledge is by normalizing homosexuality and attacking any and all opposition to it. The best way to normalize homosexuality is by placing gay marriage/same-sex marriage on an equal plane with traditional opposite-gender marriage. Romans 1:18-32illustrates this. The truth is known because God has made it plain. The truth is rejected and replaced with a lie. The lie is then promoted and the truth suppressed and attacked. The vehemence and anger expressed by many in the gay rights movement to any who oppose them is, in fact, an indication that they know their position is indefensible. Trying to overcome a weak position by raising your voice is the oldest trick in the debating book. There is perhaps no more accurate description of the modern gay rights agenda than Romans 1:31, “they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.”

To give sanction to gay marriage/same-sex marriage would be to give approval to the homosexual lifestyle, which the Bible clearly and consistently condemns as sinful. Christians should stand firmly against the idea of gay marriage/same-sex marriage. Further, there are strong and logical arguments against gay marriage/same-sex marriage from contexts completely separated from the Bible. One does not have to be an evangelical Christian to recognize that marriage is between a man and a woman.

According to the Bible, marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:21-24Matthew 19:4-6). Gay marriage/same-sex marriage is a perversion of the institution of marriage and an offense to the God who created marriage. As Christians, we are not to condone or ignore sin. Rather, we are to share the love of God and the forgiveness of sins that is available to all, including homosexuals, through Jesus Christ. We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and contend for truth with “gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15). As Christians, when we make a stand for truth and the result is personal attacks, insults, and persecution, we should remember the words of Jesus: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you” (John 15:18-19).

Buttigieg could be an interesting test case for multiple reasons. Naturally, religious conservatives will start with Rod Dreher’s question: is there any chance that faith might soften a liberal’s animosity against traditionalists? Thus far the answer seems to be “no,” given Buttigieg’s relentless fixation on Pence. It shouldn’t be necessary to prove to the world that he’s the better Christian just because both men are from Indiana. Buttigieg has come away looking vindictive and immature, and he’s undermined his effort to position himself as a thoughtful moderate.

It’s something of a wasted opportunity because he had a chance to be generous here. Imagine if he’d said something like: “As a gay man I’m not going to apologize for who I love, but I do understand that faith shapes people’s worldviews in ways that have implications for how they live. I hope that Christians who don’t accept my marriage can come eventually to see it as a good thing. But in the meantime, let’s do our best to meet them where they are, understand what matters to them, and talk in positive terms about the things that we value. We don’t always have to fixate on the places where we disagree.”

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). There is a tendency to declare homosexuality as the worst of all sins. While it is undeniable, biblically speaking, that homosexuality is immoral and unnatural (Romans 1:26-27), in no sense does the Bible describe homosexuality as an unforgivable sin. Nor does the Bible teach that homosexuality is a sin Christians will never struggle against.

Perhaps that is the key phrase in the question of whether it is possible to be a gay Christian: “struggle against.” It is possible for a Christian to struggle with homosexual temptations. Many homosexuals who become Christians have ongoing struggles with homosexual feelings and desires. Some strongly heterosexual men and women have experienced a “spark” of homosexual interest at some point in their lives. Whether or not these desires and temptations exist does not determine whether a person is a Christian. The Bible is clear that no Christian is sinless (1 John 1:8,10). While the specific sin/temptation varies from one Christian to another, all Christians have struggled with sin, and all Christians sometimes fail in those struggles (1 Corinthians 10:13).

What differentiates a Christian’s life from a non-Christian’s life is the struggle against sin. The Christian life is a progressive journey of overcoming the “acts of the flesh” (Galatians 5:19-21) and allowing God’s Spirit to produce the “fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22-23). Yes, Christians sin, sometimes horribly. Sadly, sometimes Christians are indistinguishable from non-Christians. However, a true Christian will always repent, will always eventually return to God, and will always resume the struggle against sin. But the Bible gives no support for the idea that a person who perpetually and unrepentantly engages in sin can indeed be a Christian. Notice 1 Corinthians 6:11, “And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

The Birth Pains Are Growing Stronger….

“Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants.”

My name is Steve Meyers and I need to share a vision and warning that the Lord showed me back in April 2007….

Many of you will ask why I waited so long to share the warning. I didn’t. I shared the story with everyone that would listen from pastors to friends to family to colleagues. Immediately following the initial vision, I called a close friend. I told him to sit down that I had something to tell him. I needed it documented as I knew this was supernatural and from God. As I witness events unfolding today, I need to share the vision again.

The silencing of the American people before 2020?

“The human heart is an idol factory.”

The Un-Godly — Those That Suppress the Truth, the social media giants built multi-billion dollar empires by giving everyone a voice, but now that they have such a dominant position on the Internet they have decided that many prominent conservative voices should be completely silenced.

Our government has been overthrown. As evidenced by Trump’s capitulation on the border, his recent servitude to the GMO industry and his acquiescence to the warmongers, our President has been compromised. Our liberties are being eliminated one by one. Gun confiscation is next. The Constitution is gasping its last breaths. Our borders are destroyed and our culture has been turned upside down by every perversion known to man.

The Left, a broad term for Liberal Socialist Democrats that can only be explained fully by using the Bible explanation of the human race is as follows. A servant of Satan, because you are either saved or lost. This election has brought out the true nature of who you serve. Simply put, it’s Donald Trump, Conservatives, and Christians against the rest of the world. The Left’s Love applies only to those who believe as they do. They Love evil and commit Anarchy against those who love good. They are governed by lies and never tell the truth. On this Friday, Inaugural Day for the swearing-in of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States the Left wants to commit widespread Anarchy to shut down the swearing-in ceremony. Their goal of transforming America, which was founded in Judea Christian values into a Pagan Nation is almost complete. Their goal has always been the total removal of God from American society and the downfall of America. Donald Trump says he is a Presbyterian, but he left off the USA, an apostate church.

Everything done in dark will be brought to light, being biblically bankrupt will not exclude the elitist.

Let Me Make This Abundantly Clear. (I Am Apolitical) While I Have a General Distaste for Politicians No Matter the Party They Belong To, I Am Unashamedly Politically a Bible Believing Conservative Christian. I Have a Severe Distrust of Government. I Believe It Is the Most Inefficient and Ineffective Way to Accomplish Most Things. While I Strongly Disagree with Liberals/Progressives and Conservative on Most Political Issues, and While I Believe Liberals/Progressives and Most Politicians Are Terribly Misguided and Naive About What Big Government Will Eventually Result In, I Strive to Not Question Their Motives. at the Same Time, While I Find Myself in Agreement with Conservative Politicians on Some Issues, I Do Not Believe Electing Republicans Is the Answer to Everything. for Me, Very Sadly, the Main Difference Between Republicans and Democrats Is How Quickly They Want to Drive the Car Towards the Cliff. Simply Put, I Do Not Believe the Government Is the Solution for Everything. I Do Not Place Any Faith, Trust, or Hope in Any Politicians to Fix What Is Wrong with the World. “Come Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20) StevieRay Hansen

Requiring churches to have homosexual volunteers and staff. Churches are coming under tremendous attack of late. The following are few examples:

More than a dozen homosexuals dressed in black sat quietly in the pews at Village Seven Presbyterian Church on 11/7/93 until the pastor asked the congregation to open their Bibles. They all stood up, removed their coats began screaming at the pastor and pelted the 1000 member congregation with condoms.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral, NYC, Homosexual activists stormed the building and began throwing condoms on the unsuspecting parishioners. They destroyed church property, blocked the doors and urinated on the pews.

Angry homosexuals attempted to break in to a church service @ the Hamilton Square Baptist Church in San Francisco in September. They destroyed property outside the church, pounded relentlessly on the doors, cursed at the children inside and screamed at the parents what they wanted to do to the children, spit in the faces of those attempting to get inside the church, and before it was all over, tore down the Christian Flag waving over the church and replaced it with the familiar “Rainbow” Homosexual flag. The police refused to make arrests, or even come to the scene of the crime. The congregation was left to fend for themselves and fear for their lives. If you’re law enforcement…it’s politically incorrect to arrest homosexuals in San Francisco.
