LAUSD Still Requiring Students To Mask Up Despite State & County Mandate Being Lifted.

Even when California’s statewide mask rule for indoor public places expires, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) indicated it will keep its kids disguised, at least for the time being.

This Monday is the first day that many California students will not have to wear a mask to school. However, due to agreements between the school district and its teachers’ union, an indoor mask rule remains in force for almost 600,000 LAUSD children.

LAUSD, the nation’s second-largest public school district, said it is still working with partners, notably United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA), to develop a plan to move away from mask restrictions and instead “highly urge” wearing masks indoors. Any changes to the district’s health and safety regulations must be negotiated between the district and the union, according to a September 2021 agreement.

In a statement, LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, who took office in February, stated, “I am 100 percent dedicated to supporting our science-based approach to COVID-19 procedures.” “I strongly endorse revising Los Angeles Unified’s previously negotiated agreements to correspond with current health guidance published by the State of California and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health,” said the author.

“Los Angeles Unified continues to take a science-based approach to COVID-19 policy, and is actively working with labor partners and other stakeholders to transition from compulsory indoor masking to a strong recommendation for indoor masking,” said Carvalho. He didn’t say when the indoor mask requirement would be phased away.

According to the Los Angeles Daily News, LAUSD authorities will meet with UTLA leaders again on March 16 to resolve the situation.

The UTLA has been a major supporter of stringent public health measures throughout the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) viral pandemic, including the universal mask mandate and a now-delayed proposal to vaccinate all eligible children in the district. It has also criticized Governor Gavin Newsom’s attempt to reopen school buildings for in-person education, accusing him of “propagating institutional racism.”

The teachers’ union in Los Angeles isn’t the only big metropolis that wants to preserve the mask mandate. The Seattle Education Association protested the move when Seattle Public Schools announced that masks will be optional across the district beginning March 14, stating that the union was left out of the conversation.

The union’s leadership responded, “We are profoundly disappointed by Seattle Public Schools’ deceptive announcement today, which is utterly inconsistent with its earlier declarations and obligations to its educators and the community.” “It’s especially aggravating because we had planned to bargain masks all day on Friday, March 11.”

The data has never indicated that children are at risk of infection or severe illness from COVID-19 throughout this entire plandemic. What we’re witnessing is the brainwashed left putting their loyalty to a tyrannical globalist agenda on display despite their lack of understanding of the implications. The data has shown however, that masking these children is extremely harmful psychologically. It’s very hard to watch these parents believe that they’re doing the right thing by sending their kids to school masked and incapable of learning social cues. To vaccinate these children is a whole other level of deranged, as the data has never suggested that these children require such inoculations. Yet as we already know, these parent are paying their dues to the tyrants in hope for protection and dependence.

This is what it looks like in the belly of the beast (LA), we have to assume that thousands of Americans with the correct political preferences are stuck in this hell hole taking care of loved ones, or are too poverty stricken to make their way out of this place. The decision for Los Angeles Unified School District to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations is a political power play by these tyrants. Because these children and their parents aren’t protected by religious exemption.

Three Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers have been fired for failing to comply with the city’s requirement that they get vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive a religious or medical exemption, according to LAPD Assistant Chief Dominic Choi.

Seven other employees are facing dismissal, and a total of 14 people—13 sworn and one civilian—have been found to be in violation of the immunization mandate, according to Choi.

Approximately 83 percent of the department has been fully vaccinated, 0.4 percent has been partially vaccinated, and 16.2% has not been immunized. There are currently over 2,000 exemptions outstanding. People who have recently tested positive for COVID-19 are eligible for medical exemptions, which last for 90 days.

City Councilman Joe Buscaino, who is running for mayor, said on Friday that he believes “it should be a question of personal choice and that we should respect our employees’ civil liberties and enable them to make their own personal medical decisions.”

The City Council adopted the vaccination requirement for city employees on Aug. 18. By December 18, all employees have to be immunized against COVID-19.

Only seven officers tested positive for COVID-19 in the last week, according to Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore, who reported a “sharp and dramatic decline” in new COVID-19 cases inside the department.

Moore told the Los Angeles Police Commission, “As a reminder, only four weeks ago, those numbers were in the five-and-six-hundred range of new COVID cases.”

He also stated that 68 LAPD officers are healing at home from the illness, with an average recovery time of roughly ten days.

Moore told the commission on Jan. 11 that the virus was having a major impact on the department, but that there were contingency plans in place to guarantee that essential patrol, investigation, and 911 services were maintained. More than 1,000 people were off-duty at the time owing to the illness.
