Peoples Convoy Is Returning To D.C After Leaving The 1st Time.

According to a notice posted on the group’s website on Thursday, “The People’s Convoy” trucker movement is returning to Washington, D.C.

According to the website, the convoy will depart Post Falls, Idaho, on Thursday, and “we welcome everyone to join us on our trek back to DC.” The convoy’s “urgent requirements are money and boots on the ground,” according to the organizers.

On the group’s website, there was also what appeared to be an updated map showing a route from Post Falls to Washington.

“On this map, there are no indicated halting sites. The webpage stated, “We will update soon.” “Come join us at any point along the way!” Every citizen with a heartbeat should join our campaign to ensure that all Americans and future generations have the freedom they deserve.”

The Epoch Times has reached out to the organization, which was formed to oppose COVID-19 requirements. Organizers hope to terminate the national state of emergency issued over the COVID-19 outbreak, according to the group’s website.

The caravan proceeded from California to Washington in March 2022, sleeping at Hagerstown, Maryland, before continuing on to the Washington region for many weeks. To prevent convoy trucks from entering the city, the Washington police department built barriers at highway exits, bridges, and other roads.

“I’ve had enough. “We are not the same convoy that traveled to D.C. the first time,” one speaker remarked during a recent convoy rally, according to WJLA. “This is not the same convoy that departed.” “With fangs and a backbone, we’re coming back!”

A group of 16 convoy members filed a complaint against the District of Columbia and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) earlier this week, claiming that the decision to bar them from entering was illegal.

“MPD created the blockades for the explicit goal of stopping American people from exercising their constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech in our nation’s capital,” their lawsuit read. “Of obviously, taking such action under the guise of state law infringes on Plaintiffs’ First Amendment rights.”

Plaintiffs are “hardworking Americans” who came to Washington to “lawfully express their First Amendment rights in protest of the present administration’s prolonged state of emergency proclamation and COVID-19-related measures,” according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit asks a Washington district judge to order the municipal authorities to allow truckers enter the city.

The American trucker protest was inspired by the Freedom Convoy, a Canadian organization that challenged COVID-19 requirements for weeks in Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. As a result, the Canadian government took extraordinary steps against the truckers, including declaring a state of emergency, freezing bank accounts, and limiting the convoy’s ability to accept donations.

As expected, the left sought to throw a stick in the spokes of our narrative by relating these upcoming demonstrations to the events of Jan 6th. Despite the arrests in Canada, we can expect that freedom loving citizens will choose liberty over death. The protests will likely continue. However the upcoming protests in D.C are sure to be much more volatile if the federal government seeks to deal with demonstrators in the same manor that the Canadian government did. The American people will not tolerate sold out politicians pointing their crooked fingers at us patriots, claiming that we’re to blame for their woes. The virus is man made, as is the legislature; Freedom loving citizens across the globe have sat through this debacle long enough. The conflicts of interest have been clearly defined, and the marxist ideologies surfacing in America have been welcomed by the very same people with a tyrannical grip on society.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has issued a warning about an increase in mass overdose occurrences involving fentanyl, a highly addictive and lethal drug that is killing Americans at a “unprecedented” pace across the country.

The DEA defines mass overdose incidents as three or more overdoses occurring in a short period of time in the same location.

DEA Administrator Anne Milgram said in a letter to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on April 6 that there had been at least seven mass incidents since January in which 58 people had overdosed and 29 had died from fentanyl, a synthetic opioid first approved by the FDA to treat acute pain but now widely used as a recreational drug.

Many of the victims were unaware that they were swallowing fentanyl, according to Milgram, who highlighted that the overdoses occurred in areas including Colorado, Texas, Nebraska, and Florida.

On Jan. 28, ten people overdosed and nine died after taking crack cocaine laced with fentanyl, according to Milgram. In Washington, D.C., they were all on the same block.

On Feb. 20, six persons in a Commerce City, Colorado, apartment overdosed after swallowing what they thought was pure cocaine but was actually fentanyl. Five of the six people perished as a result of their actions.

In a separate incident, 21 persons overdosed on crack cocaine and methamphetamine laced with fentanyl at a homeless shelter in Austin, Texas on March 4. Three people perished as a result of this.

“Fentanyl is highly addictive, and it’s found in all 50 states,” Milgram said. “Drug traffickers are increasingly mixing it with other types of drugs—in powder and pill form—in order to increase addiction and entice repeat consumers.”

Such large instances occur as a result of drug dealers mislabeling their product as cocaine when it is actually fentanyl, causing unwitting customers to overdose.

Fentanyl is also being added into bogus prescription drugs such as OxyContin, Percocet, and Vicodin, which are used to treat moderate to severe pain and are extensively utilized by drug addicts, according to Milgram.

Fentanyl is said to be imported from China by Mexican cartels before being pressed into pills or mixed with other narcotics to increase its potency.

“This is creating a frightening trend where many overdose victims are dying after unknowingly ingesting fentanyl,” Milgram said, adding that the DEA is working to link mass fentanyl overdose events to the drug organizations responsible for an increase in domestic fentanyl supply.

“At an unprecedented rate, fentanyl is killing Americans,” Milgram said. “So far this year, there have been scores of overdoses and deaths due to multiple mass-overdose occurrences. By combining fentanyl with other illegal substances, drug traffickers are encouraging addiction and increasing revenues. Many overdose victims are unaware that they are swallowing lethal fentanyl until it is too late.”

According to preliminary data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics, an estimated 105,752 persons died of drug overdoses in the 12-month period ending October 2021.

Synthetic opioids like fentanyl were responsible for around two-thirds of the deaths.

Meanwhile, a nonprofit group called Families Against Fentanyl found that overdoses from the drug were the leading cause of death in adults aged 18 to 45 in the United States in 2020, surpassing suicide, vehicle accidents, and gun violence, according to data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The DEA’s latest warning builds on a public safety alert issued in September 2021 about the growing availability of fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills.

It cannot be stressed enough that our current administration has been intentionally worsening the circumstances on our southern border since Bidense first stepped foot into office.
