Genesis 14:22-23

Abram told the king of Sodom that he had made a promise to God Most High not to accept anything from him, to prevent any accusations of being benefited by the king.

A group of foreign rulers conquered and looted the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot and his family were taken captive. Abram's men and his allies chased down and defeated the enemy in a battle under the cover of darkness. All the treasures seized from the city were retrieved, along with the captives, including Lot and his family.

Upon Abram's return, the king of Sodom asked for the people but permitted Abram to retain the goods. Abram refused the gifts as he had made a commitment not to accept anything to avoid any accusations of being enriched by Sodom. Abram received the Lord's blessing. Abram was determined to not let the possessions of a sinful city affect his testimony. He was passionately safeguarding the testimony of God in his life.

It's common to feel tempted to misrepresent God's testimony in our lives by giving credit for success to our own skills, education, or even unethical practices like dishonest business dealings. We should strive to follow the example of this person with unwavering faith and make sure that the blessings in our lives always reflect a greater source. Everything we have is a divine blessing.

Consider: All that we have is a gift from God. Everything we accomplish is due to His guidance. He enables us to do all the good deeds. Every positive action we achieve should be credited entirely to a higher power, That Be GOD!

In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
