Genesis 15:16 16 And they shall come back here in the fourth generation, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete."

When a covenant was made with Abram, it was foretold that his descendants would be captives in a foreign land for 400 years. That would demonstrate the duration of their stay in Egypt. The divine assurance was that they would emerge with significant wealth. That is when a divine promise will be fulfilled for Abram's descendants to receive the land they were promised. Why is the wait so extended?

When the fourth generation returned to the land, they were instructed to eliminate the current residents. Some might interpret this as a reason to label the God of the Old Testament as genocidal, but consider what God just said. They were unable to take possession of the land for 400 years because the wrongdoing of the Amorites had not reached its full measure. According to the divine message, the Israelites had four centuries to improve their ways. God, who exists beyond time and can foresee the future, was aware that their actions would lead to their ultimate destruction. Upon entering the land, the Israelites would face inevitable attacks. It was seen as a just punishment for Israel to preemptively destroy the wicked inhabitants.

At times, we find ourselves questioning the length of the wait. Have you ever questioned why our prayers go unanswered, why evil prevails, why dishonesty leads to success, and why immorality goes unpunished? The divine observes all actions across all time. He is aware of the perfect timing and will ensure that justice and righteousness triumph in the final outcome. We have a very small perspective. We should trust in God's plan and have faith in the benevolent and omnipotent nature of God.

Dear God, help me to have faith in Your wisdom and trust that You will guide me through uncertain times. Amen. Assist me in recognizing the limitations of my understanding in comparison to yours.

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
