Colossians 1:15-17 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Paul was unwavering in his belief that Jesus was divine. He understood that Jesus was the outward embodiment of the invisible God. Jesus Christ is the object of every revelation from God in the Bible. Even though God is a spirit, we see Jesus whenever He makes an appearance.

Generally, the title of firstborn son is inherited. Jesus was brought into the world through Mary at a certain time, but He is forever present with God. The father's heir, the firstborn, gets twice as much in inheritance. Even though God owns everything, Jesus gets two shares in the inheritance. There would be only one portion of the inheritance due to our adoption as sons. It's amazing that Jesus, who views us as brothers, is willing to share His inheritance with us (Hebrews 2:11).

Christ is identified as the agent of creation in this verse as well. Everything was created by Jesus, aside from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It was made with Jesus in mind. The uprising in the garden just distracted God's ultimate plan for a brief instant of time. Everything will be in the Son's glory. There isn't another possible result. Everything is held together by him. Everything would vanish at His word (Hebrews 1:3).

Sometimes we get caught up in the circumstances of the moment and forget that Christ is sovereign. Taking a step back and seeing the bigger view helps us realize that everything is in His hands. He shall be crowned by everything. The planet is filled with his brilliance.

No matter how overwhelming evil seems to you, it will pass. Jesus will end it with a single word.

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
