Many were taken aback when country act Garth Brooks sided with Bud Light in the wake of the transgender influencer scandal.

When Brooks' bar and honky tonk in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, officially opens, he promises to stock "every brand of beer."

When asked how he would respond to critics, he replied bluntly, "If you're an a-hole, there are plenty of other places on lower Broadway."

John Rich of Big & Rich and Kid Rock both spoke out against Anheuser-Busch after the company joined forces with TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney to mark his "365th day of womanhood."

However, Brooks stated to Billboard that he supports Bud Light.

I want it to be a friendly and welcoming community where everyone treats each other with respect. In addition, we will have every beer available. It's who we are. It's not up to us to decide," he declared. If you're invited into our home, our rule is simple: love each other.

The country music perform was heavily criticized online.
