Saturday Mornings’ ‘Family Bible Moment’ Topic:
This allows adults and parents to interact and share a short Bible Topic with their families at the Breakfast Table. They can also continue the conversation about this topic with the family the rest of the week even on Sunday Morning on their way to the Church or during their trip to their child’s sports events.
Number 3: Saturday’s Bible Moment Topic is:
What was the second commandment God gave?
What was the consequence of not obeying God’s Second Commandment?

Sharing Bible References:
Please read the following two verses to determine in which verses God gave His second commandment and the consequence of not obeying it.
The Answer to the question of what Second Commandment God gave is found in Genesis 2:16.
The Answer to the consequence of not obeying the Second Commandment God gave is found in Genesis 2:17.
We believe that in the Bible’s Book of Genesis God not only reveals how and in which order He created the Earth and Man as we know it now but also, begins to lay down the foundation upon which Man’s Trust in God is established and determines the level of value each person (man) must learn to develop to place in God’s Word. We believe these are the stages of understanding God’s Word; Awareness, Studying, Knowledge, Receiving, Accepting, Believing, Faith, Meditation, and finally “Calling those things that are not as though they are” Romans 4:17 – Actions for ‘The God’s Word to Manifest’ through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and not mere words.
Did you notice God gave Adam (man) the ‘KEYS’ to dominate, multiply, and Replenish the Whole World with endless provisions to live but also placed the sole responsibility upon Adam to exercise his OWN FREE WILL TO CHOOSE with a specific conditional standard? God did not create any Robotic beings?
Parting thoughts:
Right from the start, God’s purposes and desires have been to create the Earth with His Heavenly Pattern and as He said created Man “In Our Image” as we now know to establish a ‘two-way, open, ongoing relationship to provide Heaven’s best to man while living on this Earth.
At this time and period in the Book of Genesis, God did not provide any scriptures to teach Adam and Eve about different Kingdoms. Still, by studying the other Books of the Bible we have learned that there are Three very separateones: Two Kingdoms in the Spirit World realm (one we do not see but according to the Bible is more real than what we can see, smell, feel or taste): God’s Kingdom is in Heaven, Satan’s Kingdom in Hell (Satan is a fallen Cherub (Angel) and exists in the spirit realm along with one-third of the other fallen angels (Demons), Isaiah 14:12-14, and the Third Kingdom is the Physical, Earthly Kingdom that was specially created by God and given to Adam and Eve to dominate, multiple and replenish. Through deception and lies, Satan usurped that authority away from Adam and Eve.
