A $1.2 trillion spending bill was released by House Speaker Mike Johnson and Republican leaders in the early hours of the morning. The bill, which is over 1,000 pages long, is packed with absurd expenses.

House members have been instructed to get ready for a vote on Friday morning. This move would directly violate the 72-hour rule, which mandates that the text of a bill must be made public at least 72 hours before a vote.

“It is a complete lack of backbone, a complete lack of leadership, and a complete failure by Republican leadership,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) expressed to Steve Bannon. “I can’t even find words for any Republican who supports this bill. I assure you that I will not be endorsing any Republican who votes for this bill for any position, ever again.”

The proposed bill not only signifies a total surrender on any attempts to secure our southern border but also contains other outrageous suggestions.

There’s $400,000 in taxpayer money allocated for Briarpatch Youth Services, an organization that provides gender-confused 13-year-old children with “binding and tucking” clothing — all without parental consent.

A motion to vacate the chair should be made if the House of Representatives is not given a minimum of 72 hours to review this monstrous spending bill. If the GOP can’t lead in fiscal responsibility, what’s the use?

In the meantime, contact your elected members of Congress and urge them to vote NO on the spending bill — even if it leads to the federal government shutting down. Enough is enough!
