Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV) 28" Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Have you had enough of life? Tired of attempting to do everything? Tired of attempting to satisfy God, feed your family, assist a friend, and attend to the million tiny demanding details that life can throw at you? Come to Jesus! He will provide you with rest. Take up His yoke and learn from Him.

Yokes are typically used for tandem pairs of oxen. Juvenile oxen would frequently plow alongside more seasoned ones. Consider what it would be like to grow up with Jesus. Talk about knowledge! He got through it all without committing a sin. He can teach you how to navigate life. You will learn from him if you are yoked to him. He has a sweet and humble heart. There are no greater characteristics to look for in a teacher. He won't take your case because you got it wrong the first time. He lectures and directs in a gentle manner. Learning from Him is a haven for your spirit. That means you can put your thoughts, feelings, and upcoming decisions in His capable hands.

When you are yoked with Jesus, you will discover that God has everything under control. Jesus teaches us to have faith in the Father and to follow His leading. When we do this, everything works out in the end. We may put our trust in His amazing knowledge of everything and His ability to do everything. As a result, the yoke feels light and the load we pull feels easy. He plowed this road ahead of us, breaking up the dirt; we couldn't have pulled the plow through. We are now pulling the plow through the furrow he has already plowed for us. Simply remain in the yoke with him. Don't try to plough another field with another yoke. You'll discover that you can't do anything without Him. The yoke will be too heavy to bear, and the burden will be immovable. Which yoke are you wearing? Which load are you carrying?

Remember: If the yoke is too hard to bear, it is not Jesus' yoke.

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
