Law enforcement officials confirmed that a mass shooting outside the Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York, on Wednesday injured 10 people. The New York Police Department has notified the public that the incident was “not a terrorist attack.”
Fox 5 reported that four male individuals approached a group of roughly 15 people between the ages of 16 and 20 who were waiting to enter the Amazura nightclub in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
“Four males were walking eastbound on 91st Ave. onto 144th Place towards the venue,” Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera said during a press conference following Wednesday night’s shooting incident. “Three to four males then opened fire over 30 times in the direction of the group standing outside the event space, striking multiple victims.”

The youngster and her mother were among six wounded in a Bronx convenience store shooting Monday afternoon.
Police said the attackers used the mother as a shield and shot innocent bystanders.
G&W Grocery on White Plains Road near East 211th Street in Gunhill was the scene at 4:50 p.m.
At a scene press briefing, Interim Chief of Department John Chell offered details.
Some rivals fled inside after two gunmen opened fire outside the store.
One of the targeted targets, who was unharmed by the shooting, grabbed the mother and used her as a shield as they went to the counter.
Chell detailed the retail scene:
