He Saved Us From an Evil Worse Than Any Super-Villain and Has Wonderful Plans for Us

David sung this song when the Lord saved him from the hand of Saul, and from the hand of all his foes, and from the hand of all the enemies of Israel: He attributed all of his successes to God. He knew it was all the grace and presence of the LORD in his life. He sang of all the Lord was to him. Have you ever looked back over all you have been through and praised God for His goodness? If you do you will probably see many of the same things that David noticed.

It may not be expressed in those words, but you will find the same marvelous functioning in your life. A rock, hasn’t God been the one unchanging rock in all the changes of your life? Has a fort, You been the one location you could run to for protection amid life’s storms? My Deliverer, has not only, He freed us all from impossible situations, but most of all, from the chains of sin. Your salvation is sure because it was purchased by the Mighty One who paid the price in full. The power of my salvation. A shelter, a stronghold, the One to Whom we resort when we are overwhelmed or lacking strength. My Savior! He is our superman and then some. He spared us from an evil worse than any supervillain and has awesome plans for us. Yup! He gets credit. He hath saved thee. He’s saving you. He’s going to save you.” What a mighty, mighty God we serve.
