Israel Is Waking Up to Putin's Agenda!
Update 9/16/22: The Jerusalem Post released a new survey. Nearly 50% of Israelis see Russia as an enemy. Until recently, the two nations were on friendly terms.
The Wall Street Journal reported recently that "Russia is moving to close an important nonprofit organization that helps Russian Jews emigrate to Israel, in a sign of deteriorating relations between the Kremlin and the Israeli government amid tensions over Israel’s stance on Russia’s war in Ukraine." This relationship continues to chill.
When we first posed the question about whether Putin's agenda was ultimately to invade Israel, no one was entertaining that possibility. Today however, the diplomatic relations between the two nations are deteriorating at a rapid pace. We've gathered a list of credible sources around the web who are now paying attention to the looming threat:
The Jerusalem Post reported last week, "Russia Using Israel to Distract World from Ukraine, Analysts, Say"
Moscow will reportedly demand that UN Security Council condemn the alleged Israeli strike on Damascus airport, claiming it is undermining regional stability.
Moscow is set to put forth a proposal for a UN Security Council resolution condemning Israel for its recent alleged attack on Damascus International Airport, Israeli officials told the KAN News on Sunday. The strike caused serious damage to the airport and put it out of commission for days.
The draft proposal blames the attack on Israel and says that it undermines regional stability and goes against international law, according to Kan. Though the resolution is unlikely to pass, some analysts say that the move could mark a significant deterioration in Russia-Israel ties.
“There is no turning back from that,” Zvi Magen, a research fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University, who was Israel’s ambassador to Ukraine from 1993 to 1997 and ambassador to Russia from 1998 to 1999, told The Media Line.

The Path from Moscow to Ukraine to Israel Begins
The whole world is paying attention to the ongoing war crimes committed against Ukraine launched by Valdimir Putin. Yes, he is a narcissistic megalomaniac, a pathological liar, an atheistic mass murderer, and a totalitarian dirtbag who doesn’t possess one ounce of human conscience. And these are his lesser evils. But, you have to dig deeper into what motivates him.
Others, like Stalin and Hitler, shared the same psychological defects as Putin. But Putin has a far more sinister drive. He’s undoubtedly under demonic control… Satan’s puppet on a string, and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do, no matter how ghastly or macabre, to submit to the king of hell.
In answer to the question, “Would Putin lead the Russian army to attack Israel?” Yes, he could and would if there was a good reason. What you will not hear from the major news desks around the world is that every circumstance is lining up for this to become an unavoidable eventuality.
Vengance Against NATO
Fact #1: Putin Loathes NATO’s Solidarity in Western Europe and Has Been Striving to Unravel It for Decades.
Right! Isn’t that the main reason he attacked Crimea and Ukraine? He feared NATO’s continued expansion. But there’s more. Most people haven’t been paying attention to the fact that Russia has two military bases in Syria: The Hmeimim airbase in the northwest and the naval port of Tartus, further south. So why would a civil war-torn, ISIS-infected hole in the Middle East have any value to Putin? The primary reason is that Syria is at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea, which opens direct access to the rest of NATO-controlled Western Europe.
All About Love Triangles
Fact #2: Syria and Israel Share a Common Border and Have Long Been Mortal Enemies Since 1948.
These two nations have been locked in a perpetual war resulting in several bloody engagements: 1948-49, 1967, 1972, and 1982. Their mutual disgust with each other runs deep. Today, each nation blocks the citizens of the other from travel across the border. Syria refuses to recognize Israel as a legitimate state and is a strategic ally of Iran… another enemy of Israel.
Fact #3: Russia Loves Syria. Syria Loves Russia Back. Israel and Russia Have Been “Unconditional Allies” Since 2016.
Now follow this one very closely, because it has all the makings of a love triangle… and we all know how those end. Naftali Bennett, the Israeli Prime Minister, believes he can mediate the peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. In fact, Bennett was the first foreign leader to meet with Putin in Moscow after the invasion of Ukraine.
So why would Israel cozy up to Russia? The answer is simple. Israel expects Putin to keep them out of another armed conflict with Syria or a nuclear war with another Russian ally… Iran. Remember that old proverb, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Israel seems to believe, “The friend of my enemy is my friend.”
Bennett, Israel’s Prime Minister, is playing with fire and doesn’t realize it. He refuses to condemn Putin or even allow Ukrainian refugees safe passage into Israel. Bennett is being played by Putin. There can only be one reason that Russia shows any interest in Israel… Israel and the U.S. are allies. This is the second love triangle playing out in real time. Putin is playing a game of chess while the rest of the world is playing checkers.

Fact #4: Syrian Mercenaries Have Joined Russia in the War Against Ukraine, Whereas Israel Tries to Maintain Friendly Relations with Ukraine.
This begs the question, “What did Putin promise these blood-thirsty mercenaries in return for sacrificing their blood on Ukrainian soil?” Almighty rubles? No, those are worth less than a penny. Nice homes in Ukraine? No, the whole country is being bombed back into the dark ages.
What would Syria want more than anything else?
Syria’s main grievance against Israel is their continued occupation of the Golan Heights, which officially belongs to Syria. This has been going on for decades and is the primary source of conflict throughout the Middle East today. Syria wants Israel to leave… to put it politely.
This begs another question, “Why would Putin offer Syrian mercenaries anything to fight for him?” Ha, he’s desperate. His mighty Russian army is manned by marshmallows, and he knows it. Putin is desperate at this point to save his ass after underestimating the Ukrainian’s ability to resist. He can’t lose this war and survive assassination.
Putin would sell out Israel to Syria in a heartbeat. He as no soul. He has no loyalties other than to himself. Would America come to the rescue of Israel? Maybe. Would NATO? No, Israel does not belong to NATO. Let me say that again. ISRAEL DOES NOT BELONG TO NATO!!! They are in the same position as Ukraine... a sitting duck with clipped wings.
What This Means
While no one can be 100% certain that Ezekiel’s prophecy is unfolding before our very eyes, the stage has already been set for this to happen exactly as predicted… and it may be sooner than you think. Consider the main points of what we covered so far:
- Vladimir Putin is a soulless demoniac, hell-bent on murdering hundreds of thousands of people regardless of the suffering inflicted around the world.
- He believes that NATO is an existential threat to Russia and has already established two military bases in Syria… a little-known fact. Yes, this gives him access to the Mediterranean Sea, all of NATO controlled Europe, and the northern border of Israel.
- The Dangerous Love Triangle: Syria, Israel’s mortal enemy, has joined forces with Russia to destroy Ukraine, while Israel remains “unconditional allies” with Russia. There is reason to believe that Putin offered something in return for the Syrians to join the war against Ukraine. The only thing the Syrians would want is for Russia to force Israel out of the Golan Heights, which technically belonged to Syria until President Trump formally recognized Israeli sovereignty over the region.
- Israel does not belong to NATO and would be left to defend herself from a Russian or Russo-proxy invasion.

If the whole earth were a powder keg ready to explode, the fuse would be set in Jerusalem. Bitter tensions between the Jews and the Arab nations have been raging for centuries. Jerusalem, the ancient city founded by King David over 3,000 years ago, has been the epicenter of invasions, wars, occupations, and crusades. Without a doubt, these events have shaped the course of human civilization for several millennia. Even today, there is no “real peace” in the Middle East. The difference between War and Peace always exists on the thin margin of a razor's edge.
And just how bad are these hostilities today? Not so great! Consider the list of the nations who are sworn enemies of Israel:

Let’s just summarize this section by saying, “The emotions and hostilities run deeper than the Mariana Trench at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.
The most complicated part of this picture is the relationship that America has maintained with Israel for nearly 75 years. Most conservative American Christians believe that God has commanded all Believers to support Israel. To illustrate, God spoke these words to Abraham:
I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:2-3
Most Christians know that Jesus Christ was a Jew, born in Bethlehem—also the birthplace of his ancestor, the great King David. Furthermore, many Christians believe that Israel is the only nation created by a sovereign act of God Almighty, and that He often referred to the Jews as “My people.” Many Believers feel a spiritual kinship with the nation that gave rise to their Savior and their Christian faith. No doubt, American pilgrimages to the Holy Land have equaled “big business” for the Israeli economy.
Consider these statistics from the Pew Research Center:
- Among white evangelical Protestants, 46% say that the U.S. is not providing enough support for Israel.
- When asked whether God gave Israel to the Jewish people, more Christians (55%) than Jews (40%) say yes.
- When it comes to the long-standing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, asked whether they sympathize with either side, 72% of white evangelicals sided with Israel in the dispute while 4% picked the Palestinians.
Megachurch Pastor, John Hage, boasts of having sent over $100 million in support to Jewish causes. And that’s just one ministry! No one really knows the total amount of support that evangelical Christians have sent to Israel.
Regardless of where one stands on this issue, it’s a fact that U.S. support for Israel has had far reaching consequences. For instance, one of the primary reasons that Osama bin Laden attacked the U.S. on 9/11 was America’s support of Israel (Source: Wikipedia). As a result, America waged over two decades of war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and spent trillions of dollars to protect America from the people who hate her… mostly on account of the ongoing support of Israel.
Putin hates America too, but for different reasons. In his twisted perspective, the U.S. is the dominant leader of NATO, which he considers the “existential threat” to Russia… Chicken Little be damned. America is like the Rocky Balboa to his Ivan Vasilyevich Drago. O.K. That reference was so 1980’s Cold War.
On a more serious note, the U.S. has demonstrated its ability to impose crippling sanctions against Russia, butt-kick (yeehaw) them out of the world banking system, freeze billions of dollars in assets, take away their toys, yachts, Big Macs… and the list goes on.
So, each time the five-foot-three-inch Russian president is humiliated (5’7” in high heels), the more his Napoleonic Syndrome flares. Don’t let anybody tell you that’s not a real thing. Let’s face it, Putin is being shamed by the Ukrainian army. His quick takeover plan was an epic failure. He must be so butt-sore by now. Russia doesn’t have the resources for their marshmallow military to occupy Ukraine forever.
Putin’s Achilles Heel was to underestimate that a comedian/actor who played the role of a Ukrainian President on a popular sitcom would become the real President and an international hero. Volodymyr Zelensky has captured the world’s stage. Not only that, but he’s also inspired world-wide support for the survival of Ukraine. “Glory to Ukraine,” and “Support Ukraine” are common refrains heard in the news and around the world.
This whole news cycle is strangely similar to the plot of the epic Star Wars fantasy series! In a galaxy far away, the rebels have united. Their mission is to thwart the autocratic ambitions of the evil emperor. Gasp and grimace… and the memes keep coming.
To Putin’s dismay, the Ukrainian army/militia is blowing up Russian tanks, sinking war ships, commandeering equipment that the twenty-something Russkies abandon after soiling their pants. Putin’s head must be ready to explode. America keeps supplying the resistance: Over 7,000 anti-tank Javelin systems, 1,400 Stinger anti-aircraft systems, 100 tactical kamikaze drones, grenade launchers, body armor, 400 shotguns, pistols, rifles… and more arrives each day, (source). Oh, how he must hate America and Americans to the bottom of his wretched soul. Falsely accusing and imprisoning Americans must ease the pain a bit… perhaps satisfying his need for vengeance. But it’s not enough for this man.
Strategically, Putin has one last move remaining to save face, save his ass, and save his life. Ultimately, he will seek to regain the upper hand by changing the rules of the current war against NATO/Ukraine. Our prediction is that Putin will attempt to weaken his enemies by expanding the theater of war… by manipulating them (primarily America) into a war that siphons off their resources. What would be the most logical strategy here?

The Sycophant Syrians would be the most logical weapon in Putin’s arsenal. With back-channel support from Russia, they could attack Israel and exact “sweet revenge” for all the lost wars in previous decades. Sensing blood in the water, the Palestinians would be quick to pile on. Next come the Iranians. Then all the dominoes fall one-by-one. Every Jew-hating nation and anti-Semite encircles the victims.
How will America respond? That’s the easiest question to answer if you understand how religion and politics in America have fused together over the last 50 years. Every election is ultimately decided by people who donate to and vote for political candidates in the primaries. One group understand this best. Evangelical Christians—a fierce political force by all counts—cries out for America to defend Israel “at all costs.”
But this won’t happen—at least not immediately. Why? Joe Biden is the most sympathetic President to the Palestinians grievances that Americans ever elected to office. He defends the Palestinian’s rights to live in Jerusalem (evangelical anathema). Biden is against the Israeli occupation of the Golan Heights. And, as we mentioned earlier, Israel is not part of NATO. The most likely scenario is that the Biden administration will drag it heels before giving much more support to Israel.
THAT WILL NOT GO OVER WELL IN AMERICA!
The division between the Red and Blue states will widen. Conspiracy theorists will join the discussion and confuse the masses. Hostilities will increase. Americans will become deeply divided over the contrast between “diplomacy by the State Department” vs. “diplomacy by Biblical prophecy.” More on this subject in part 3 of this series.
Meanwhile, and let there be no doubt here, Israel has nuclear weapons and will defend her “right to exist” no matter the cost is to the world!

America’s Role in the Last Days
Before we elaborate more upon the motivations Russia might have to initiate an attack on Israel, the question must be asked: “Would America allow Russia to attack Israel?” One of the mysteries that Biblical scholars contend with is the absence of any direct references to America during the Last Days. That’s right, the U.S is conspicuously missing on the world stage. This can be explained by one of two theories. First, America may be included in the Biblical references to “the nations,” and the role these nations play during the End Times. Liberty University published a position paper of this view in Scholars Crossing, May 2009 edition (click here). Second, and this theory is quite shocking, America has either been neutralized or destroyed. More on this perspective later.
The Biblical Timeline for a Russian Invasion
Here's the majority consensus among pretribulation scholars. The "Gog" and "Magog" (Russian) invasion of Israel prophesied in Ezekiel 38 occurs just prior to the Great Tribulation. Depending on your interpretative viewpoint, the Rapture of the Church by Jesus Christ may have already occurred, and in fact, may be necessary for such an invasion to succeed. Why? Evangelical Christians are fierce supporters of Israel for the most part. Their absence would remove many obstacles for a character like Putin to succeed in a real invasion.
The Present Escalating Hostilities
As we write this news article, the Western World is utterly shocked by the atrocities being committed in Ukraine. “War Crimes” and “Genocide” are headlining the 24/7 coverage of every news agency. Pictures of decapitated civilians with hands tied behind their backs are grimly displayed on prime-time television and on websites all over the world. We've all seen (excluding Russian citizens) corpses dumped without dignity into mass graves surrounded by the hollow shells of bombarded buildings... scorched earth on full display.
In addition, Vladimir Putin and his military are being branded as the international pariah of the modern world. U.S. and European sanctions are beginning to decimate the Russian economy. Putin’s worst-case scenario is playing out before his eyes. Ukraine has resisted more successfully than anyone could have ever imagined. He is a becoming a very desperate man.
In Putin’s autobiography, there is a curious story he shared about his childhood. He lived in a dismal, rat-infested communal apartment building in St. Petersburg along with his mother. In his own words,
There, on that stair landing, I got a quick and lasting lesson in the meaning of the word cornered. There were hordes of rats in the front entryway. My friends and I used to chase them around with sticks. Once I spotted a huge rat and pursued it down the hall until I drove it into a corner. It had nowhere to run. Suddenly it lashed around and threw itself at me. I was surprised and frightened. Now the rat was chasing me. It jumped across the landing and down the stairs. Luckily, I was a little faster and I managed to slam the door on its nose.
Today, with Putin’s largest military gamble falling horribly short of expectations, and while ordinary Russians suffer the consequences, close observers of the Kremlin wonder if Putin is the one who feels cornered. And they're frightened about how the rat will react next.
As we write, there is no indication that hostilities will deescalate. There’s not even a plan for de-escalation. The trend is up and up and UP! Putin is cornered by nations carrying the sanctions club, the international ban hammer, and the promise of continued support for the Ukrainian military. When a cornered rat with powerful allies (China & India), and nuclear weapons decides to pounce, what does that look like?
Answer: Desperate men resort to desperate measures.
Putin’s Only Path to Victory
Let’s face it, America and it’s NATO backed allies are a bigger threat to Putin than Ukrainian resistance to his invasion. Yes, NATO was weak until they united to resist him. He underestimated the likelihood of this possible outcome. But, that doesn’t mean he isn’t plotting another way to unravel these alliances. His next best move is to distract his enemies with an expanded theater of war.
It is the opinion of many that there is only one place on the planet that could achieve global disruption of an unprecedented scale. It happens to be the most invaded, contested, and volatile piece of real estate the world has every known. And this is no exaggeration for those who are students of western civilization. Where is it?
ISRAEL!
At first, Putin would wage a proxy war against Israel, much like America and NATO are waging a proxy war in the Ukraine. This could be accomplished by enlisting either Syria, Pakistan, or Iran. Notice how entangled these relationships really are. Syrian mercenaries deployed to join the battle in Ukraine on March 31, 2022 (source: NYT). Pakistan recently listed Israel as it’s number one enemy on account of Israel supplying India with high-tech military equiptment and surveillance systems (source). Ironically, India refuses to condemn the Russian Invasion of Ukraine and has stated that the U.S. sanctions are illegal (source). And yet, India supports Palestine. Also, consider Turkey, a NATO ally, a nation that also supports Palestinian claims against Israel. Oh, then there's Iran who unilaterally hates both the U.S. and Israel.
Do you get the picture?
If Putin supported a secret, backchannel, proxy war with any number of nations that despise Israel, he would set the world on fire. But how would that lead up to a Russian invasion of Israel?
How It All Ends… Or Begins
With Russian support, the Syrians could retake the Golan Heights. He owes them "bigly," as Trump was known to say. Similarly, the Palestinians could retake the West Bank. Then the Hamas would remove the 21 Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip. Iran would seize the opportunity to fly over the carcass as well. The feeding frenzy escalates when ISIS and the Taliban smell blood in the water. They gird up their loins, mount their camels and jump into the fray.
On the other side of the world, Americans are riveted to the news. Another holocaust is occurring, but it plays out on live TV for the first time in history. Swarms of Jewish refugees flee back into Israel carrying the dead bodies of their loved ones. For the foreseeable future, there will be no more church trips to the Holy Land or baptisms in the Jordan river. Every Congressman and Senator receives thousands of calls each day in support of Israel.
Unfortunately, Israel is not part of NATO... so Article 5 will not be triggered. Perhaps help will come from another horizon. Canada? No. What about South America? Are you kidding. Venezuela is dancing in the streets over these events.
"But wait a second," Naftali Bennet reasons. Russia occupies Syria which boarders Israel. "Didn't Putin say in March 2016 that relations with Israel were based on friendship, mutual understanding, and the long common history, (source). And remember those two Russian military bases in Syria?
Initially, Moscow claims that their movement of forces to the Israeli boarder is merely a peace-keeping mission. Wink. Wink. But not really. These maneuvers serve a larger purpose in the mind of Putin. He wants to force NATO to recognize the reestablishment of the Soviet Union. In a ballsy move, he seizes control of the airports in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Ramon.
The Prime Minister of Israel now realizes that he's been used like a play thing... sold out and kicked out of the love triangle. His blood boils with the intensity of a scorned lover who realizes the relationship was all a lie from the very beginning.
It is estimated that Israel has 90 nuclear weapons, small by comparison to the bigger players on the field. But here's the thing about those bombs. You don't need many to do a lot of damage in a small area.
The Jerusalem Times publishes the headlines, “We Have a Right to Exist. We Will Use Our Nuclear Weapons to Survive!”
Is that saber rattling or is the threat real? Israel launches before the pundits finish their first debate. Nuclear bombs fall on Syria, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and the Golan Heights.
And as Scripture predicted thousands of years ago, the Russian military in that region is obliterated.
Ezekiel 39:11-14a On that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east of the Sea. It will block the way of travelers, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog. For seven months the Israelites will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. All the people of the land will bury them, and the day I display my glory will be a memorable day for them, declares the Sovereign Lord. People will be continually employed in cleansing the land. They will spread out across the land and, along with others, they will bury any bodies that are lying on the ground.
Now back to Putin. He hears the news and flies into a rage. The memory of the cornered rat from childhood flashes in his savage mind. He launches all 5,977 nuclear warheads against NATO and the U.S. in retaliation.
The first strike is utterly devastating... made so much worse by the fact that the global defense satellites were hacked by the Russian military with zero-day viruses long ago. Who could have imagined that all those Russian hackers who infected the U.S. infrastructure, pipelines, hospitals, and small businesses with ransomware were only getting smarter and better each day? They were just experimenting back then on small targets. This was always the end game.
America is in rubble. Putin seizes control of the UN. The New World Order is established.
The Great Tribulation has begun… and things will get unimaginably worse over the next seven years.
Will these events play out as we’ve theorized here? That’s probably not the question anyone should be asking. The real question is, “When will something like this eventually happen?”
It's already been prophesied. And it could be very soon!
The Love Triangle Blows Up
There’s that old saying about romantic relationships, “Two’s company, but three’s a crowd.” It looks like Russia is now turning a cold shoulder toward Israel. So, what happened?
First, Israel got a backbone and decided to join the chorus of nations that are confronting Russia about war crimes in Ukraine. It was reported in the Jerusalem Post (source) that Israeli Foreign Minister, Yair Lapid, condemned Russia of slaughtering Ukrainian citizens in the “Bucha Massacre.”
Second, Putin’s response was swift. He said that Israel was using Ukraine to cover up for its own conflict with the Palestinians. Then, "stop the press," he demanded that Russia gain control of a Jerusalem church that was promised by Benjamin Netanyahu years earlier in a diplomatic swap. The name and place of the church is significant—the Alexander Nevsky Church and the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity which is in the heart of the Christian Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City (source). Not only that, but it's just a short distance to the east of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where Jesus was reportedly buried after the crucifixion. It’s been over three weeks now, but Israel has yet to comply with Putin’s demand.
This lover’s spat could have serious consequences on the world stage. Imagine Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett giving Putin control of a significant church in the Holy City while the rest of the world is sanctioning Russia back to the stone age. If Bennett refuses, what will that mean for Russian support to keep the so-called peace between Israel and those who hate her in the region. The stage is being set for more than a jilting, but a full-fledged divorce. More on this later.
Inside the Maniacal Mind of a Malignant Megalomaniac
While the rest of the world is riveted to the daily news cycle coming out of Ukraine, Putin is playing a game of three-dimensional chess around the world. He’s fiercely ambitious and obsesses over his public image. No doubt, he was delighted when Time magazine made him person of the year in 2007. But we shouldn’t forget that he shares the same honor with other notables: Adolf Hitler (1938) and Joseph Stalin (1939 & 1942).
When we say that Putin exhibits maniacal behavior, we mean that he is extremely wild and violent. Combine this with a megalomaniac/narcissistic personality disorder and you uncover a bedlam of antisocial behaviors:
- The inability to experience empathy, lack of remorse, not caring about the pain they cause—even enjoying it by feeling empowered
- The fixation on fantasies of infinite success and control, while believing that they are extraordinary, even omnipotent, and indestructible—a grandiose sense of self-importance
- Manipulating everyone and every situation to their advantage
- They place value only upon themselves—their beauty, brilliance, and power
- Unable to handle criticism and often lash out if they feel slighted
- Blaming others for their own bad behavior
- Hidden insecurities and a weak sense of self
- Seeking to win at all costs, leaving a great amount of pain, frustration, and disaster in their wake
Like any former KGB intelligence officer, Putin is skilled at seizing the upper hand in any situation. He learned the art of asserting his dominance very early in his career. Today, he meticulously crafts the narrative through which he is portrayed in the public’s eye. Manipulating the behavior of others, either through the fear of punishment, imprisonment, or assassination, thrills his ego. Make no mistake, Putin considers no one as his equal. He will always seize the initiative to force his opponents to react to the terms he dictates. The fact that his army murders babies, rapes women, and guns down people who are fleeing for their lives doesn’t keep him up at night. History will record his name in the same lists that mention Hitler, Stalin, and Mao Zedong. And like those men, Putin is the spawn of hell.
Normal people have a hard time understanding the nature of a malignant megalomaniac or the atrocities they are capable of committing. Most people have a conscience, right? Most people will feel guilt and shame at some point during their life. Yes! But men like Putin are simply incapable of feeling these emotions. It is for this reason that we can say, “He is absolutely capable of doing anything, no matter how dark, sinister, or evil it may be.” Don’t call him insane or crazy. Call him what he is, “a lost, demon-possessed soul in control of a nation, an army, and the world’s largest nuclear arsenal.”
Now back to Jerusalem.
Why Putin Wants a Jerusalem Church
With everything stated above and throughout this series, why would Putin want Russia to own a church in Jerusalem? According to The Times of Israel, it's at the top of his agenda (source). Does the butcher want to hear some of that old-time religion… add his measly voice to the chorus of gospel music? Perhaps he’s thinking about turning from his evil ways, repenting, and following Jesus as Lord. Maybe he wants to tithe from the bounty of billions that he’s stolen from the Russian economy… kind of like Zaccheus—the New Testament tax collector.
Not hardly!
No, Putin doesn’t believe in God, Jesus Christ, the Bible (no surprise), Karl Marx, Lennin, Buddha, or in anyone other than himself. He wants complete control of a Jerusalem church to create an outpost in the most politically volatile piece of real estate on the planet. In Putin’s mind, he’s played Israel like a cheap wood-splintered fiddle. He’s the loathsome architect of the latest Holocaust to afflict mankind.
Israel obviously feels embarrassed on the world stage after closely aligning their nation with Russia, especially considering their own "never again" history.
Putin has successfully squeezed Israel between a rock and a hard place. They relied on his military prowess to protect their nation from enemies on every side… the Palestinians, Syrians, Egyptians, Iranians, etc. If Israel hadn’t spoken out, their Holocaust museums all around the world would be seen as so many symbols of hypocrisy.
Yes, Putin lured Israel into his love triangle, wooed them like any cheating lover will do, and then sprung the trap on their spine. The latest reincarnation of Hitler now demands that Israel hand over a church in the sacred heart of old Jerusalem. The irony is palpable. This must feel like a stab in Father Abraham’s back.
If you’re a movie fan, you’ve seen this script before. The protagonist arrives on the scene, only to discover that he’s been betrayed into the hands of the enemy. Who did it? Most often, the character he trusted most. There’s always that initial shock… followed by gut-wrenching disbelief. The gnawing realization of a well-planned treachery begins to wash over the hero’s face. No one in the theater blinks or reaches for that last handful of popcorn.
As the music reaches a crescendo, all hell breaks loose.
The Path from a Church Heist to Invading Israel
When a malignant megalomaniac faces an existential threat, "the sum of all fears" is the only option. HNewsWire believes that Vladimir Putin is very capable of fulfilling Biblical prophecy. Though this scenario may not be on his self-survival radar currently, invading Israel would accomplish his objectives. Tensions are already arising in the Middle East. Major news outlets are not reporting on the escalating conflicts in that region. They are focused on the daily atrocities in Ukraine.
Russia seizing control of Israel would throw the Western World into chaos and restore the upper hand to Putin. According to Ezekiel chapters 38-39, if he is the man who fulfills this prophecy, he will be defeated by God Himself. Putin's arms are too short to box with God!
Ezekiel 38:18-23 (NIV) This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign Lord. In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Alpha Dog in the Middle East
For many years, there was very little indication that Russo-Israeli relations were anything but warm and friendly. Why? As we stated earlier, Russia is a diplomatic powerbroker in the Middle East and has extensive leverage over Israel’s main enemies—the Palestinians, Lebanon, Iran, and Syria, just to name a few. Israel desperately needs Russia to help with their national security concerns. Today however, tensions are escalating between the two nations at an alarming… or shall we say “Biblical” pace. We may be the generation that sees the Old Testament prophecy (Ezekiel 38-39) fulfilled during our lifetime.
The ugly forces of Satan are hard at work.
Pedophiles Do Evil Things
Most people know that Putin assassinates people who pose a major threat or merely criticize him. Wikipedia estimates that at least 21 journalists have been killed since he came to power in March 2000 (source). Rarely, however, does the press mention what the deceased critic alleged before they were either stabbed, shot, run over, hung themselves, or poisoned.
Let’s look at one instance—the ex-KGB officer, Alexander Litvinenko. He died an agonizing death at age 43 after he was poisoned in London with Polonium 210, a rare radioactive isotope. What did he say about Putin? Here's what the investigation discovered.
The British House of Commons ordered an inquiry into Litvinenko’s death since it occurred on their soil. Sir Robert Owen, the highly respected judge of the High Court of England and Wales, came out of retirement to chair the inquiry which was presented to Parliament in 2016, (Online Version). So how did the Kremlin respond to the investigative report presented to the British Parliament? They dismissed the whole inquiry as “Western Propaganda.” In case you haven’t noticed yet, that’s their standard response to anything true, embarrassing, or incriminating.
Years before Litvinenko was assassinated, Putin was unknowingly caught on video kissing a young boy’s stomach in public. After you watch the video below, read some of the comments by the viewers. The vast majority find it incredibly strange, even the Russians! One person asked the question, “Why hasn’t this been brought into the spotlight?” The response, “One guy did and a few months later he was poisoned.”
No doubt, Putin is one sick, screwed up puppy, and he gets away with it because Russians fear his wrath. Anything negative reported or printed about him after May 2016 can be banned according to a court ruling as “extremist materials.” Aleksandr Tsvetkov was arrested and convicted under this law for creating images of Putin’s deviant sexual behavior. His punishment was to be placed in psychiatric care, aka, a place where no one will be able to witness your accidental (wink, wink) death.
Now, back to Israel.
The Latest Offense
What you're about to read is pretty outrageous! Russian foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, asserted that Adolf Hitler had Jewish blood in his veins. And as if that weren’t enough, he went on to say, “The wise Jewish people say that the most ardent anti-Semites are usually Jews.” And why would he say such a thing? This was in response to someone asking him the question, “How can you claim to be de-Nazifying Ukraine when their president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is Jewish?
In other words, "the Jews weren't the Nazis, you idiot!
The gloves came off after Lavrov’s statement. Dani Dayan, who chairs the Yad Vashem Holocaust remembrance site in Israel, said it was “completely unfounded” to say Hitler was of Jewish descent. He later posted on Twitter, “Equally serious is calling the Ukrainians in general, and President Zelensky in particular, Nazis. This, among other things, is a complete distortion of the history and a serious affront to the victims of Nazism.”
Obviously, the comments made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov hit a raw nerve. Yair Lapid, Israel’s Foreign Minister we mentioned earlier, was even more indignant in his response: “Jews did not murder themselves in the Holocaust!” Lapid added, “The lowest level of racism against Jews is to accuse Jews themselves of anti-Semitism.”
What was Russia's response? They doubled down and accused Israel of supporting “the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv, Ukraine.”
Escalating Hostilities in the Middle East
The major media networks only seem to report on the things that stir people up in the moment. Then the news cycle moves on to the next shiny object. They’re more interested in advertising dollars than letting us know what’s really happening in the world… like the current meltdown in the Middle East.
Let’s begin by looking at the bigger picture. Israel is a small and narrow country whose very existence has long been rejected—often violently—by its neighbors. Iran has vowed to annihilate Israel and has taken three concrete steps over the last few years to do so:
- Positioning proxy militias on three of Israel’s borders
- Upgrading their arsenals with increasingly accurate and longer-range missiles
- Pursuing its capability to reinforce these militias with a nuclear umbrella
In addition, the Islamic Republic and its proxies have also sought to develop the ability to operate behind Israeli lines, including sowing chaos within the West Bank—which overlooks Gush Dan, Israel’s vital nerve and population center—and igniting ethno-religious violence between Arab and Jewish Israelis. Meanwhile, the United States—Israel’s traditional guarantor and central ally—has been reducing its global and regional footprint, which have historically been a central pillar of Israeli security.
According to The Times of Israel report, since mid-March of this year, there have dozens of successful attacks in Israel, while 66 attacks have been prevented with over 500 suspects being arrested (source). With terror attacks across the country claiming the lives of civilians and security forces, the Israeli defense establishment is scrambling to prevent the next deadly attack before it happens. Israeli security forces have been reinforced by thousands of troops in the West Bank and along the security fence, but that hasn’t stopped terrorists from carrying out plans driven by the incitement of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar (source).
Where Is This Leading?
You’ve heard the saying, “Between a rock and a hard place.” Well, that’s just part of the trouble Israel is in right now. A more apt analogy would be, "Out of the frying pan and into the fire."
Most people don’t realize that Israel regularly carries out airstrikes on Iranian targets in Syria, which it regards as critical to prevent the transfer of precision-guided missile technology to Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah militant group. In fact, Israel coordinates with the Russians ahead of all their missile strikes launched in Syria. And there are significant concerns, that if the relationship with Moscow goes sour, so does Israel’s freedom of action in Syria—something Israel sees as vital for its survival as a nation state.
Nonetheless, The Times of Israel has reported that Israel is leaning toward sending defensive military equipment to Ukraine, (source). There’s no doubt that if this happens, the Israeli diplomats in Russia will be expelled. If Israel doesn’t get more tough on Russia, a key source of their income could be boycotted by European nations and their Western allies. Remarkably, these nations purchased $11.3 billion worth of defensive weapons from Israel in 2021, alone!

As we stated in previous reports on this subject, Russia is the superpower in the region. When the time is right, they will "step in" to “save the day” so to speak. The ingredients for the prophetic recipe (Ezekiel 38-39) are all laid out. All the key players are mixing them in the bowl as we speak.
