Watchman: Is the Trump Administration Trying to Use Christianity As a Political Tool? Will Christ’s Genuine Disciples Confront Trump and Condemn Him if That’s the Case?

BY SRH

President Donald Trump on a dark quest to ignite a new Crusade or some form of “holy war” in the Middle East, aiming to accelerate Bible prophecies that certain Christians are eager to witness come to fruition?

If the reports we are hearing are true, and they are coming from credible sources, then we are either facing a dire situation, or something far more sinister and heartless is at play.

A group of leaders from various sectors of the U.S. military are allegedly advising their personnel to dismiss concerns about a conflict with Iran, asserting that “President Trump has been chosen by divine forces” to “ignite the flames” that will usher in “the final battle and the second coming of Christ.”

A grievance was lodged by a non-commissioned officer and submitted to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), which from Saturday morning through Monday evening recorded over 110 grievances concerning commanders across all branches of the military disseminating these concerning messages to their personnel.

The count of grievances had surged to twice its previous amount by Tuesday.

Is this a cunning maneuver by Team Trump to manipulate Christianity for their own sinister geopolitical agenda?

And if so, will true Christians rise against Trump and condemn him? I suspect that the majority will cower in silence, yet a bold few will rise to confront him without hesitation.

As reported by Military.com, referencing journalist Jonathan Larsen’s article on Substack as the source, this is indeed not a fabrication.

“The number of complaints has soared beyond 200, and installations have surpassed 50,” MRFF founder Mikey Weinstein declared to Military.com on Tuesday. “They are relentlessly infiltrating every corner.”

In the 1980 movie The Blues Brothers, the two main characters, portrayed by Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi, incessantly proclaimed they were “on a mission from God” to revive their former R&B band and gather funds for a Catholic school facing closure. The spouse of a fellow band member, portrayed by Aretha Franklin, delivered one of the film’s most enlightening lines when she admonished the men: “Don’t you blaspheme in here, don’t you blaspheme in here!”

The Trump administration is asserting a divine mandate in Iran that could be considered even more sacrilegious. In what is essentially a misguided endeavor to revive a crumbling American empire through brute force, they are recklessly transforming this into a conflict of faith. By invoking a higher power in their justification for the war, they assert a moral superiority that is unearned and unsupported by the facts.

They are presenting themselves as the virtuous champions battling against malevolent zealots. If we can eliminate enough of them, the Middle East will transform into a tranquil haven more conducive for American enterprises to thrive. If manipulating the sacred texts serves their purpose, they are more than willing to pursue it. Yet beneath their argument lies a wicked idea that the divine somehow relies on them to hasten His prophetic schedule outlined in the New Testament Book of Revelation.
