Know both your physical and spiritual enemies. Know their motivations, their intentions and plans, their histories, their capabilities, their weaknesses, their strengths, their technologies, and their resolve. Then you will know what they have planned for you…

On Tuesday, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller made a surprising remark about a rancher blown up by a cartel-planted IED along the US-Mexico border.
“An IED murdered a US citizen and Texas rancher near Brownsville, Texas. This horrific crime shows the growing threat of cartel activities along our southern border “Miller stated.
He added:
Texas farmers, ranchers, and agricultural workers who visit Mexico or work near the border should be extra cautious. Texas agriculture relies on the Lower Rio Grande Valley (LRGV), so farm safety is vital. Rising violence threatens lives, farms, ranches, and rural communities.
Every agricultural worker should be cautious, aware of their surroundings, and report suspicious activities to law enforcement. Avoid dirt roads and secluded locations, don’t touch unknown objects that could be explosives, travel during daylight hours, remain on main highways, and avoid cartel-controlled areas. Texas relies on our agriculture family, so we must defend it.”
Miller’s office told NewsNation about this month’s IED incident. Rancher Antonio Cespedes Saldierna, who worked on both sides of the border, was murdered after his pickup hit the explosive device on a gravel road, officials said.
Also killed: Horacio Lopez Pena. Lopez’s wife, Ninfa Griselda Ortega, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Separately, Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham called for top-level condemnation of these deadly crimes.
Due to heightened chances of IEDs, gun battles, kidnappings, and other turmoil, the US State Department issued the highest travel warning for some Mexican cities near the US–Mexico border last month.
The State Department recently designated Tren de Aragua, Mara Salvatrucha, Cartel de Sinaloa, Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion, Carteles Unidos, Cartel del Noreste, Cartel del Golfo, and La Nueva Familia Michoacana “foreign terrorist organizations” as our latest reporting suggests the Trump administration will destroy the cartels’ command and control centers.
