In October, the Japanese health authorities will introduce the sa-mRNA Covid vaccine to the public.
The endorsement stems from encouraging clinical findings from multiple ARCT-154 investigations, including a current efficacy trial involving 16,000 participants conducted in Vietnam.
As the year draws to a close, the initial study results are set to be published in a peer-reviewed journal, with the findings currently accessible on MedRxiv.
Nevertheless, Japanese scientists and medical experts, who have long expressed apprehensions regarding the conventional mRNA injections, have largely resisted the endorsement of the experimental vaccines.
In light of the impending introduction of the new vaccines, Japanese Member of Parliament Ryuhei Kawada convened an urgent press conference in Japan to alert the public.
During the event, he and his colleagues voiced significant apprehension regarding the nation’s imminent introduction of the “mRNA replicon vaccines.”
During the press conference, Kawada contended that the October 1 deployment effort concerning the COVID-19 vaccines “ought to be stopped.”
A study published in Cell explored the mechanisms behind a vaccine akin to the Replicon mRNA when introduced into cells.
They uncovered that the elements of the vaccine persisted in their growth within the cells.
Experts are cautioning that these self-replicating mRNA vaccines persist in an uncontrolled manner, spreading throughout the cells and beyond in the body.
The worry lies in the possibility that particulas, referred to as extracellular vesicles (including exosomes), might result in shedding through bodily fluids and similar means.
Nevertheless, the Japanese regulators and Arcturus Therapeutics remain silent on these potential dangers.
“We are speaking at this press conference with the firm belief that the replication vaccine must be stopped,” Kawada stated during the presser.
“In light of recent events, we have resolved to convene this urgent press conference.”
