A group of people brought a woman to Jesus, accusing her of wrongdoing and demanding judgment. Instead of responding in anger or haste, Jesus paused and knelt to write on the ground. He then spoke: “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.” One by one, the accusers left, convicted by their own hearts.
With gentle wisdom, Jesus turned to the woman and said, “Go and sin no more,” showing both mercy and truth. In that moment, His wisdom brought peace, taught humility, and transformed judgment into compassion.
