God’s name is where? Christ, it’s up to you. A lot of people in the body of Christ do what they want. This group doesn’t worship with the people on whom God has put His name, they worship on their own. It is easier to pray by yourself than with a group of people who believe. Problems are caused by people. What we need to understand is that I am one! I am also a part of the problem. Putting myself off won’t help. We have trouble when we pray together because we’re not perfect yet. They help us learn and get better. They give us chances to be kind, show love and kindness, and be gracious. The troubles show me where I’m weak and how much I need to keep growing and making friends.

Staying away from my flaws, which show up when I fight with my siblings, is much more convenient. It is easy to stay away from having to show mercy and grace. But remember that Jesus said that people would know we are Christians by how much we love them. This love doesn’t show itself when everyone gets along; it shows itself when it forgives and is kind when someone does something wrong.

You can choose, God. You can either follow what the LORD told you to do and keep getting together, or you can take the easy way out. It’s easy to just do what you want. Living stones are being ground up in the body so that they can fit into their places in the house of God.

Think about it: Are you ready to go through trouble so that you can be changed?
