“Several people were hit by gunfire that occurred close to the garage west of Union Station. According to a statement from the Kansas City Missouri Police Department (KCPD), “We took two armed individuals into custody for further investigation.”

Michael Hopkins, the battalion chief for the Fire Department, reported that ten people were shot during the incident, three of whom were critically injured, and one person died.

Mr. Hopkins continued by saying that one individual had non-life-threatening injuries and five more were in critical condition.
