Pestilence Moving In All Direction: Massachusetts 716 Breakthrough COVID

Cases in 1 Week…

Massachusetts has had 5,166 breakthrough cases of COVID-19 as of July 17, 2021, with 716 of the cases occurring in just week, according to the state Department of Public Health (DPH).

Between July 10, 2021, and July 16, the DPH reported 1,649 new positive COVID-19 cases. Breakthrough cases are defined as occurring in persons who were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before onset of the infection.

Breakthrough cases account for 43.4% of all new COVID-19 cases. The DPH is blaming the spike on the Delta variant, which they say is twice as infectious as the original virus, even though technically there is no commercial test for the Delta variant; currently the testing is something the CDC does on 750 samples a week, and then applies to the nationwide cases.

“Breakthrough cases account for 43.4% of all new COVID-19 cases.” Not true. Nurses and doctors willing to speak out say this number is at least 90%

Massachusetts public health officials issued a public health advisory telling people in Province town to wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status, and asking some businesses “to request proof of vaccination before allowing people to enter,” according to MSN.
