Much like the prophecies found within the sacred texts, the restoration of the nation experienced an immediate realization at the conclusion of the 70 years of exile, alongside a profound fulfillment that resonates in our present time. The Jewish people have returned to their homeland from every corner of the world. Today’s passage reflects on the future reign of Jesus, who will sit on the throne of David during the millennial kingdom, a time that awaits us.

It is only through the reign of the Branch of David, Jesus Christ, in Jerusalem that we will witness the fullness of justice and righteousness. He will come again during a time of great distress, bringing salvation to His people in their hour of need. From that moment onward, Jerusalem shall find its peace and safety. As the Millennium draws to a close, the shadows of malevolence will strive to sway the world, making one last effort to overcome the light of Jesus. This moment, His glory will shine forth unhidden. He will guide those who turn away from Him to the ultimate reckoning, where they will face their everlasting destiny.

The title by which the Divine will be known is “The Divine is our righteousness.” All who dwell in His realm will understand that their virtue is a gift of His selfless offering for our sake. We will forever cherish the gift of His righteous life, which He graciously bestowed upon us, and the burden of our sins that He carried on the cross. Even now, for all who have embraced Him, He is “The LORD our righteousness.”
