If we realize this truth and live in it, the world will see our worry-free countenance and want to know how they can have the same peace.
Paul argues that we can be justified by faith and made righteous like Abraham by believing God’s message via Jesus. Jesus claimed to be our ransom (Matthew 20:28). John 3:16 says we will live forever if we believe in Him. The apostles told Paul this was Jesus’ teaching, but he needed to check the Old Testament.
After reconciling with God, we are at peace. We shouldn’t worry about judgment. While God may punish us, He will not condemn us. Realizing that my faith in Jesus makes me sinless in God’s eyes is a simple approach to remember justified. His holiness no longer demands my just penalty because Jesus took it.
This tranquility is precious. Without fear, we can die. We may rest assured that our Christian loved ones will await us. God will accept us into His kingdom. Many people fear death and tomorrow, but we need not (Hebrews 2:15). We are at peace with Almighty God, who controls our future.
Romans 5:1 1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
