Something Doesn’t Smell Right With Chinese Surveillance Balloons, and the Truth Is That the State Department, CIA, and Others Are Lying to the American People in Collaboration With the Biden/Obama/Satan Soldiers Administration. What a Surprise, Huh?

Government vs. People—State vs. State—Governor vs. Governor—Mayor vs. Mayor—Government vs. Government—Neighbor vs. Neighbor— Tribulation... HNewsWire:

OFFICIAL US DID NOT ASSESS LATEST OBJECT TO BE MILITARY THREAT TO ANYTHING ON THE GROUND -OFFICIAL SENIOR U.S. THE OFFICIAL SAYS THE OBJECT SHOT DOWN WAS AN OCTAGONAL STRUCTURE, BUT THERE WAS NO DISCERNIBLE PAYLOAD.

The Pentagon is scheduled to hold a press briefing about the downed item at 5 p.m. ET.

Update (1548ET): According to Rep. Jack Bergman (R-MI), who has been in contact with the Defense Department about operations around the Great Lakes region on Sunday, the US military has 'decommissioned' another 'item' over Lake Huron.

The item was shot down by pilots from the US Air Force and the National Guard, according to Michigan Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin (D). It was characterized as "octagon shaped" and flying at 20,000 feet.

This is the fourth object destroyed by the US military in less than a week.

The FAA restricted airspace over a region of Lake Michigan on Sunday to "assist Department of Defense activities," which temporarily closed down the area for commercial and civilian aviation traffic. The restriction was lifted shortly after.

On January 25, 2019, steam rises from Lake Michigan in Milwaukee.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) later acknowledged that it and the FAA "imposed a temporary flying restriction airspace over Lake Michigan at around 12 p.m. EST on February 12, 2023.
"This was done to ensure the safety of aviation traffic in the area during NORAD operations," it stated, adding that the restriction had since been lifted.

"The FAA briefly blocked some airspace above Lake Michigan to accommodate Department of Defense activities," an FAA representative informed The Epoch Times on Sunday. "The airspace is now open."

According to a map tracking FAA notices, the AFP news agency, Reuters, and Fox News, the FAA notice, which barred civilian air traffic from the area, was issued for national defense concerns. According to the map, the FAA flight restriction appeared to have been lifted as of Sunday about 1:15 p.m. ET.

As of Sunday afternoon, the Department of Defense had made no public comments.

The FAA has released scant specifics about why it imposed the flying restriction, which covered a square region that included parts of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the northwestern Lower Peninsula, and parts of Wisconsin.

"Pilots who do not comply to the following [process] may be intercepted, detained, and interviewed by law enforcement or security personnel," the FAA said concerning the Lake Michigan ban on Sunday, according to Fox News.

Lake Michigan is home to several major American cities, including Chicago, Milwaukee, Gary, Indiana, and Green Bay, Wisconsin.

China has gone on the offensive with its rhetoric in response to the many balloons or 'unidentified objects' purportedly shot down by the US military over North America in recent days. For more than a week, China has been under pressure to answer as the Chinese'spy' balloon controversy has dominated international headlines.

Its foreign ministry denounced US hypocrisy on Monday, claiming that the US has violated Chinese airspace without permission at least ten times using high-altitude balloons since early 2022. This comes as Chinese officials have said that they are currently tracking more. The Associated Press (AP)

"It is not uncommon for US balloons to penetrate other nations' airspace illegally," said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin during a daily briefing. "The U.S. should first reflect about itself and change course instead of smearing other countries."

Wang was responding to allegations from China on Sunday that officials had tracked and were preparing to shoot down an unexplained object near a northern port city.

"The Qingdao Marine Development Bureau sent a notice to fishing boats saying that an unidentified flying object was sighted over waters near Rizhao and authorities were preparing to shoot it down," the South China Morning Post reports.

Despite the alarmist declaration, which appeared to be a mirror image of Washington's hyping the current 'balloon dangers' over the American continent, Beijing's information on what it claims to be monitoring remain scarce:
Wang did not elaborate on the claimed invasions or indicate if the balloons seemed to be military in nature or used for espionage. He stated that China will employ "all necessary tools" to cope with such circumstances.

This implies that China's military may soon embark on a shooting frenzy, destroying any prospective foreign balloons in or near its airspace.

The Biden administration was quick to respond, with National Security Spokesperson Adrienne Watson announcing the following hours after the charges from Beijing:

Any notion that the US government operates surveillance balloons over the People's Republic of China is untrue. China has a high-altitude surveillance balloon program for intelligence collection, which it has utilized to breach the sovereignty of the United States and over 40 other countries on five continents.

Will this be remembered as the weird 'balloon war' of 2023, given the escalating rhetoric that has brought US-China relations to a new low?
