20 Sailors Discharged for Refusing COVID-19 Vaccine.

According to a Wednesday news release, the US Navy terminated 20 sailors for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine, while the Marine Corps confirmed the discharge of 251 Marines.

According to the agency, 20 “entry level separations” had occurred as of Jan. 5 as a result of COVID-19 vaccine refusals, which is the first wave of discharges. According to the Navy’s update, it “reflects service members who have been separated during initial training periods within their first 180 days of active duty since the time of the vaccine mandate.”

To date, 251 Marines have been discharged for refusing to receive the vaccine, according to the Marine Corps.

“To date, there have been 3,260 requests for religious accommodation concerning the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. At this time, 3,115 have been processed and zero requests have been approved,” the Marines added.

“there have been 3,009 active duty requests for a religious accommodation from immunization for the COVID-19 vaccine.” the Navy said.

According to data given this week by the Marines, 94% of Marines are fully vaccinated, with an extra 2% partially vaccinated. There are 5,268 active Navy personnel and 2,980 Ready Reserve personnel who are not immunized.

In August, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin issued a directive requiring all service members to be vaccinated, prompting all branches of the military to establish timelines for troops to be fully vaccinated.

A federal judge decided in favor of approximately three dozen Navy SEALs who sued the Pentagon over the vaccine mandate a few days earlier. They claimed that their religious beliefs prevent them from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, and that their petitions were not properly addressed before the Navy denied them.

In a Monday judgment, Judge Reed O’Connor, a George W. Bush nominee, said, “The Navy servicemembers in this case seek to vindicate the very freedoms they have given so much to safeguard.” and  “The COVID-19 pandemic does not provide the government the authority to limit those liberties.” The First Amendment does not have a COVID-19 exception. Our Constitution makes no mention of military service.”

The mandate requires service members to choose between their religious views and their profession, according to Mike Berry of the First Liberty Institute, which brought the complaint on the SEALS’ behalf.

“Punishing SEALs for simply asking for a religious accommodation is purely vindictive and punitive. We’re pleased that the court has acted to protect our brave warriors before more damage is done to our national security,” Said Mr. Berry.

In December, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters that the Pentagon is debating whether a booster shot should be required for all service personnel. There has yet to be a public announcement.

A political purge is the perfect way to describe what were seeing happen to these service members. Many of whom won’t know where to turn for employment considering the instability of the job market for unvaccinated individuals. Many service members are likely to wake up to the political and spiritual warfare being waged over their heads. In light of such polarization, many will be inclined to recluse and search for answers for themselves. Does that make an individual crazy? Not for the roughly 50% of the unvaccinated American population.

The internet has proved to be a place in which you can tune into various frequencies in search of a perspective that best fits your narrative. I could make up an argument on the fly and back it up with facts and statistics pertaining to my argument. With that being said, the news about COVID-19 is terrifyingly polarizing. There is a spectrum, by which all narratives of the COVID-19 agenda are carefully presented to anyone conducting research. The opposing sides of the spectrum are those who are sold on the COVID-19 pandemic, and those who aren’t sold at all.

But it becomes extremely important that we listen to our gut, when we notice that someone is eyeballing something that rightfully belongs to you. Our civil liberties are merely gods gift to man interpreted by men of power. No man, woman, government, organization, forum, or anything will prosper as a weapon against God. With that being said, when our God given rights are at stake, it is probably best to question the integrity of those who propose the removal of such rights. In summary, if you’re not a “conspiracy theorist” you probably aren’t asking very many questions about the world around you.

The Marine Corps announced Thursday that 133 Marines have been discharged for refusing to take the COVID vaccine, as the military services begin to discharge a pool of potentially as many as 30,000 active duty service members who have refused to be vaccinated despite multiple opportunities to do so past vaccination deadlines.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered obligatory COVID vaccinations for all US military members in late August.

Shortly after Austin made the COVID vaccine mandatory, the military services quickly set their own deadlines and warned service members that failing to vaccinate could result in discharge, which is consistent with the Pentagon’s position that refusing to vaccinate is a violation of Austin’s lawful order.

The amount of unvaccinated active duty personnel in each service is close to 30,000, despite the fact that the percentage of vaccinated active duty members in each military is at least 95%.

The Air Force was the first to make public that it had heeded the warning, saying that 27 airmen had earned administrative discharges earlier this week.

According to the latest statistics from the Air Force and the Navy, 7,365 airmen and 5,472 sailors remain unvaccinated, either because they refuse the vaccination openly or because their claims for administrative, medical, or religious exemptions are still being processed.

The Marine Corps announced on Thursday that 95 percent of its 182,500 active-duty Marines had received at least one COVID vaccination shot, the lowest percentage of any armed service. The Marine Corps has authorized 1,007 medical and administrative exemptions, and 2,863 of the 3,144 religious exemption requests are still being processed.

In order to serve in the United States, military soldiers were already required to obtain 12 vaccines, including those for measles, polio, anthrax, chickenpox, and flu. Depending on which worldwide region they were deployed to, service members assigned overseas were needed to acquire up to five more vaccinations, such as those for yellow fever or encephalitis.

Despite the fact that the Army stated on Thursday that over 98 percent of its 478,000 active-duty soldiers had been vaccinated, nearly 10,000 soldiers have not.

According to the Army, 3,864 soldiers have refused the vaccine outright, while another 6,263 are waiting for their exemption requests to be processed.

The majority of service members who have not been vaccinated have applied for religious exemptions, but none of the military branches have provided one.

Service personnel who are discharged from the military for refusing the vaccine will receive either an honorable discharge or a “general discharge under honorable conditions,” according to the defense authorization bill enacted by Congress this week.

Unlike the other services, the Army has decided that troops who refuse to be vaccinated will not be discharged. Instead, they will be “flagged,” unable to advance in the Army, and forced to leave when their enlistment contracts expire. Presumably a bar for reenlistment would be put into place as well. 

Soldiers who have been flagged for refusing the vaccine will be subjected to regular COVID testing, according to Lt. Col. Terence Kelley, an Army spokesperson.

A soldier who reports to the same employment location on a daily basis will be tested once a week, while those who telework and must visit their job site will be checked within 72 hours of the meeting or job activity, according to Kelley.
