Chicago Falls to Vaccine Passport Tyranny.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot said that confirmation of COVID-19 vaccination will be required to enter restaurants, pubs, and gyms, becoming Chicago the latest city to enforce a vaccine passport.

“Despite our diligent and equitable vaccine distribution efforts throughout this year, unfortunately, our city continues to see a surge of COVID-19 Delta and now Omicron cases,” Lightfoot said in a statement.

The mayor stated that “new steps must be taken to protect the health and wellbeing of our residents” by mandating vaccine passports.

“This public health order requiring proof of vaccination to visit certain indoor public places is a necessary measure to ensure we can continue to enjoy our city’s many amenities as we enter the new year,” said Lightfoot, a Democrat.

Individuals over 16 years old will be required to provide identity that matches their immunization card or offer another form of verification. Employees who haven’t been vaccinated must wear masks and provide proof of a weekly COVID-19 test.

“There’s no denying that we’re in a fifth wave of COVID-19. This new wave is seemingly more deadly than the last, spreading faster and causing profound harm,” Lightfoot said idiotically during a news conference. “To be clear I’ve not been this concerned about COVID-19 since the early days of the pandemic in 2020. If you wish to live life as normally as possible with the easy to do the things that you love, you must be vaccinated in the city of Chicago starting Jan. 3.”

Privacy and civil liberties groups have criticized vaccine passports as draconian, claiming that they create two distinct classes of people: vaccinated and unvaccinated. Thousands of people protested vaccine passports and other mandates around Europe over the weekend, including in France, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Omicron variant now accounts for roughly 73 percent of all cases in the United States. Although the World Health Organization, which designated the strain Omicron in late November, voiced concern that it could spread swiftly, current data suggests the variant is less deadly than its predecessors.

“Right now, there are about a thousand people hospitalized with COVID-19 across New York City. That’s about a quarter of where we were at the peak of last winter’s wave and less than a tenth of where we were in the spring of 2020,” New York City health commissioner Dr. Dave Chokshi said on Monday, blaming the rise in infections on the “Omicron wave.”

Officials from South Africa’s Ministry of Health claimed late last week that Omicron’s hospitalization rate is less than ten percent of Delta’s during its initial wave earlier this year.

New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Philadelphia are among the other major U.S. cities that have made vaccine passports mandatory. On Monday, Boston joined those cities by requiring vaccination passes.

These major cities are falling under the thumb of compromised elected officials who either intentionally adhere to the globalist agenda, or are too stupid to understand that the positions they hold have a profound impact on the lives of millions. Beginning Jan. 15, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced that COVID-19 vaccination proof will be required to attend most indoor businesses and venues.

Workers in those firms and venues will also be required to receive the vaccine, according to Wu, a Democrat.

According to the city, those entering restaurants, bars, nightclubs, movie theaters, fitness centers, concerts, sports arenas, museums, and other entertainment facilities will be required to present proof of a vaccine passport, such as a vaccination card, digital image of a vaccination card, or another vaccination record, as well as a verification app.

Businesses that are subject to Wu’s regulation will be required to publish a notice about the vaccine obligation. According to the city, everyone aged 12 and up must present one dose to enter venues by March 1st, while minors aged 5 to 11 must present one dose to enter venues by March 1st.

“It’s time for Boston to follow the science and public health data to ease [health care workers’] burden to take the big steps that we can to help close vaccination gaps,” Wu said in a news conference.

In New York City, where vaccine passports have been in place for several months, city data shows that on December 19, the number of COVID-19 cases reached an all-time daily high, with over 20,000 illnesses registered.

Vaccine passport critics assert that they establish a two-tiered society of vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Some organizations have expressed concerns that these technologies violate an individual’s right to privacy.

Former acting Mayor Kim Janey, a Democrat, said in August that vaccine passports harken back to slavery or the Reconstruction Era, and Wu’s edict marks a striking divergence from her Democrat predecessor’s policies.

“There’s a long history in this country of people needing to show their papers. During slavery, post-slavery, as recent as—you know what immigrant population has to go through here … Here we want to make sure that we are not doing anything that would further create a barrier for residents of Boston or disproportionally impact BIPOC communities,” Janey said in response to a question about passports. At the time, Wu, who was a city councilwoman, criticized the former mayor.

Aside from Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, several other cities have implemented immunization pass schemes, including Philadelphia and San Francisco. The passport system in Philadelphia was revealed earlier this month along side New Orleans.

The internet has proved to be a place in which you can tune into various frequencies in search of a perspective that best fits your narrative. There is a spectrum, by which all narratives of the COVID-19 agenda are carefully presented to anyone conducting research. The opposing sides of the spectrum are those who are sold on the COVID-19 pandemic, and those who aren’t sold at all.

But it becomes extremely important that we listen to our gut, when we notice that someone is eyeballing something that rightfully belongs to you. Our civil liberties are merely gods gift to man interpreted by men of power. No man, woman, government, organization, forum, or anything will prosper as a weapon against God. With that being said, when our God given rights are at stake, it is probably best to question the integrity of those who propose the removal of such rights. In summary, if you’re not a “conspiracy theorist” you probably don’t ask very many questions.
