It is evident that Dr. Steve Caudle of Greater Second Missionary Baptist Church in Chattanooga does not embody the “turn-the-other-cheek” approach typical of some ministers.
Caudle urged his followers to embrace violence in reaction to the policy changes being implemented by the new Administration in Washington.
This represents an additional intensification of the anger-driven discourse from Democratic politicians and commentators.
During a sermon broadcast live on YouTube on Sunday, Caudle criticized Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for allegedly threatening to “steal” Americans’ information and money, and warned that a violent “conflict” is on the horizon: In a sermon live streamed to YouTube on Sunday
“In this country, I fear that we are teetering on the brink of violence.” This is an effort to return us to a time we have no desire to revisit, and we will not comply. Consequently, conflict is inevitable. I hope that the peace of God will prevail and triumph over the chaos trying to dominate this nation.
“And I will say to you, dear one: no one enjoys violence, yet there are moments when it becomes unavoidable.” When Elon Musk intrudes upon the United States Treasury and threatens to take your personal information and social security check, the potential for violence arises.
At times, the situation can become so dire that one feels compelled to resort to violence and engage in a struggle!.
