Musk Demonstrates How Twitter’s Algorithm Puts You Right Into An Echo Chamber.

Elon Musk cautioned Twitter users that they are being "manipulated" and advised them to disable the platform's algorithmic newsfeed, while the company's legal department reportedly claimed he had broken a non-disclosure agreement.

"The algorithm is manipulating you in ways you aren't aware of… "It's simple to flip back and forth to notice the difference," Musk tweeted. Other users should switch to seeing the most recent tweets straight away by hitting the Twitter home button, tapping the stars button on the upper right of the screen, and selecting "latest tweets," according to the Tesla CEO.

"I am not alleging malice in the algorithm," Musk wrote in another post, "but rather that it is attempting to estimate what you may like to read and, in doing so, unwittingly manipulate/ magnify your ideas without you recognizing it."

On April 25, Musk declared his plan to buy Twitter after criticizing the company's content moderation methods. He and Twitter both stated Musk will try to buy the company for $44 billion, allowing him to take the platform private afterward.

However, the contract looked to be on thin ice on May 13 when Musk said that the partnership was "on pause" following allegations that bots and automated accounts account for less than 5% of all users. Musk later stated that the transaction is still on the table.

The billionaire stated on Saturday, "Twitter (TWTR) legal just phoned to protest that I broke their NDA by exposing the bot check sample size is 100!"

Musk said early Sunday that he hasn't seen any research that says bots make up less than 5% of Twitter accounts.

"There is a potential it might be above 90% of daily active users," he said later.

Meanwhile, Musk indicated last week that when the sale is completed, he will enable President Donald Trump to return to Twitter, despite Trump's claims that he will not because he wants to focus on his Truth Social business.

In April, Trump told Fox News, "I'm not going on Twitter; I'm going to remain on Truth." "I hope Elon buys Twitter because he'll enhance it and he's a wonderful guy, but I'm sticking with Truth."

People seem to have a hard time wrapping their heads around how these algorithms put them into an echo chamber. But it's pretty simple, basically the platform shows you things you like and doesn't show you things you don't like. Even if you see news about something you don't like, it's likely being presented from the perspective of someone with similar opinions. When you create an echo chamber of reprobates, obviously there will be some severe repercussions.

For starters, you've got these twisted "intellectuals" who have no comprehension of the value of life. Yet believe they're in a position to dictate the legislation behind the robbing of children's lives across the country. This is the result of an individual giving their "intellect" too much weight and setting aside morality as if it were some cliche. Then, you've got the folks who have yet to formulate an independent thought for themselves since their twitter account was made. These are the people going about their lives and only making their political preferences known when put in a position in which they're required to answer. Because they have no full understanding of the context behind the polarization.

What makes this entire thing so evil, is that twitter has separated the left and right and caused hatred and animosity to fester between one another. The platform has only served to divide large groups of the population and embolden everyones perspective. When this is not the case; Our country needs healthy debate between respectful well read individuals. Only then can we clear up the water that's been muddied by these big tech platforms. 1 Peter 4:12-14 says: "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has issued a warning about an increase in mass overdose occurrences involving fentanyl, a highly addictive and lethal drug that is killing Americans at a “unprecedented” pace across the country.

The DEA defines mass overdose incidents as three or more overdoses occurring in a short period of time in the same location.

DEA Administrator Anne Milgram said in a letter to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on April 6 that there had been at least seven mass incidents since January in which 58 people had overdosed and 29 had died from fentanyl, a synthetic opioid first approved by the FDA to treat acute pain but now widely used as a recreational drug.

Many of the victims were unaware that they were swallowing fentanyl, according to Milgram, who highlighted that the overdoses occurred in areas including Colorado, Texas, Nebraska, and Florida.

On Jan. 28, ten people overdosed and nine died after taking crack cocaine laced with fentanyl, according to Milgram. In Washington, D.C., they were all on the same block.

On Feb. 20, six persons in a Commerce City, Colorado, apartment overdosed after swallowing what they thought was pure cocaine but was actually fentanyl. Five of the six people perished as a result of their actions.

In a separate incident, 21 persons overdosed on crack cocaine and methamphetamine laced with fentanyl at a homeless shelter in Austin, Texas on March 4. Three people perished as a result of this.

“Fentanyl is highly addictive, and it’s found in all 50 states,” Milgram said. “Drug traffickers are increasingly mixing it with other types of drugs—in powder and pill form—in order to increase addiction and entice repeat consumers.”

Such large instances occur as a result of drug dealers mislabeling their product as cocaine when it is actually fentanyl, causing unwitting customers to overdose.

Fentanyl is also being added into bogus prescription drugs such as OxyContin, Percocet, and Vicodin, which are used to treat moderate to severe pain and are extensively utilized by drug addicts, according to Milgram.

Fentanyl is said to be imported from China by Mexican cartels before being pressed into pills or mixed with other narcotics to increase its potency.

“This is creating a frightening trend where many overdose victims are dying after unknowingly ingesting fentanyl,” Milgram said, adding that the DEA is working to link mass fentanyl overdose events to the drug organizations responsible for an increase in domestic fentanyl supply.

“At an unprecedented rate, fentanyl is killing Americans,” Milgram said. “So far this year, there have been scores of overdoses and deaths due to multiple mass-overdose occurrences. By combining fentanyl with other illegal substances, drug traffickers are encouraging addiction and increasing revenues. Many overdose victims are unaware that they are swallowing lethal fentanyl until it is too late.”

According to preliminary data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics, an estimated 105,752 persons died of drug overdoses in the 12-month period ending October 2021.

Synthetic opioids like fentanyl were responsible for around two-thirds of the deaths.

Meanwhile, a nonprofit group called Families Against Fentanyl found that overdoses from the drug were the leading cause of death in adults aged 18 to 45 in the United States in 2020, surpassing suicide, vehicle accidents, and gun violence, according to data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The DEA’s latest warning builds on a public safety alert issued in September 2021 about the growing availability of fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills.

It cannot be stressed enough that our current administration has been intentionally worsening the circumstances on our southern border since Bidense first stepped foot into office. It goes without saying that the fentanyl epidemic is a by product of Biden’s intentional lack of initiative on our border. It is possibly one of the baseline responsibilities of being the president of the United States of America to protect our borders from foreign threats.
