Christian Family Values Groups and an LGBTQ+E for Evil Activist Have Joined Forces to Oppose a Bill in Connecticut Because, They Say, It Would Give Pedophiles the Status of a Legally Protected Sexual Minority, as Reported by the Watchman
HNewsWire: Anyone who sexually abuses a child or who helps someone who is abusing a child deserves the death penalty, says the StevieRay Hansen Watchman.
They fear that if the bill passes, pedophiles will be recognized as a protected sexual minority in Connecticut, so Christian family values groups and an LGBT activist have joined forces to oppose it.
The language of the state's anti-discrimination laws would be updated by HB 6638. Existing Connecticut law defines "sexual orientation" as not including "any behavior that is a sex offense crime." In a revised law, that phrase would be taken out.
Christine Rebstock, a transgender activist, is against a bill in Connecticut that would legalize pedophilia as a protected sexual orientation. There is a sickness in a society that does not protect its children and its elderly. Anyone who sexually abuses a child or who helps someone who is abusing a child deserves the death penalty, says the Watchman.

"If Governor [Ned] Lamont signs it, a person who admits they are a pedophile—even if they haven't acted on it but just admit it—could just go to an appeal board if they get fired from a job or denied housing near a school," said transgender activist Christine Rebstock.
Critics are raising an alarm because they believe the new language could make it illegal to fire an employee with a sexual attraction to children, even if the employee works at a business that caters to children. According to public policy director Leslie Wolfgang, employers will need to exercise greater caution in their interactions with prospective employees.
They won't be able to treat others unfairly because of who they are sexually attracted to. Representatives Tom Delniki (R) and Dominique Johnson (D), Representatives Hubert Delaney (D) and Jeff Currey (D), and Senator Gary Winfield (D) authored the new legislation.
Both houses of the legislature have approved it, and all that's left is for Democratic Governor Ned Lamont to sign it into law. In Connecticut, no one can be discriminated against on the basis of their sexual orientation. This includes people who identify as heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual.
Peter Wolfgang, an advocate for "radical gender ideology," argued that this cutout was insufficient. Wolfgang is the executive director of FIC, an organization that advocates for Christian family values, and is married to Leslie.
Peter Wolfgang expressed concern that the proposed bill's "vague" language could lead to protections for groups that lawmakers likely didn't intend to cover. One of them is pedophilia. Others exist." Neither pedophilia, polygamy, nor bestiality are sanctioned by law. Critics argue that the new language, if enacted into law, could be interpreted to provide protections to people who practice those sex crimes.
Peter Wolfgang predicted that it would be more of a gradual process than something that would happen "overnight" for pedophiles to seek legal protections under the proposed law's language. Can anyone say for sure that these definitions won't change after "everything that we've lived through in the last 20 years?"
We are concerned that you will not be able to discriminate against someone who "hasn't committed the crime but is openly professing that that's what his attraction is on social media," he said. A person's termination from a child-related job, such as driving a school bus or working in a preschool, could be deemed unlawful discrimination under the proposed law if they have ever expressed a desire to have sexual encounters with children.
A prime illustration of what best-selling conservative author Rod Dreher calls the Law of Merited Impossibility can be found in the law, as stated by Peter Wolfgang. This phrase describes a common occurrence during heated debates over contentious cultural topics.
When a controversial activity or policy is implemented, its opponents are often accused of bigotry by the same side that claimed it would never happen in the first place.
Many people on the political left, for instance, have denied the reality of child sex-change practices. After the procedures' validity was established, they were defended.
If the bill in Connecticut passes, Rebstock exclaimed in disbelief, "a school bus driver who openly announces his sexual desire for children can't be fired for that."
Inquiring, "And what's on his mind when he sees these kids?" Asked Rebstock. Is he going to have lustful thoughts about a helpless 10-year-old child?
Whoever introduced this legislation ought to stand trial for pedophilia. Only in America would a bill be proposed to legalize child grooming and sexual assault. This administration has lost all semblance of sanity and cannot claim to speak for the interests of decent citizens.
If Americans are truly compassionate, then all transgender people would be locked up in asylums for years while they received the necessary therapy. the 'gender affirming' variety especially.
Watchman: When a nation refuses to acknowledge God, its citizens can behave in any way they please. Of course, pedophiles will be shielded from harm. What do you think the motivation is for including books about gender and sexuality in elementary schools? They are preparing your kids for pedophilia by grooming them. In America, no child is secure. This is especially true if you enroll them in public schools, which serve as indoctrination centers for the government.
