Washington ‘Team Mom’ Accused Of Raping 11-Year-Old Lacrosse Player-Rape Culture

Featured Story

As with most instances of human degradation, the beginnings of a rape culture can be traced to mankind’s rejection of God. Romans 1:18–32 outlines the downward spiral we take when humanity shakes their fist at God and defines their own moral code according to their lusts. Verses 21–22 highlight the problem from which all sins emerge: “Although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools.” Even two thousand years ago when Romans was written, people were denying the real God and worshiping a god of their own making. The reality of God’s existence was and is undeniable, but, rather than bow to Him, mankind “reinvents” Him.

A Washington woman is facing child rape charges. HNewsWire reports

Su Hyon Dillon, 44, is accused of having sex with an 11-year-old boy who played on her husband’s lacrosse team.

Investigators said she was considered the “team mom” of the Emerald Ridge Lacrosse Club.Court documents indicate Dillon had sex with the 11-year-old multiple times between May 2014 and May 2015. Charging documents said one time, “He was spending the night at her house. She came into the room and laid next to him.” Another time, according to documents, “They were in San Diego on a Lacrosse trip and she came to his room.”

According to the charging documents:

Police received a call from the victim’s mother in early April. She told police her son had been “acting out” for the past couple of years and was sent to live with his father in Virginia.

While in Virginia, the victim told his mother that he had sex with the mom of one of his teammates on a Pierce County lacrosse team, the documents say. They had sex a few times, he said, between 2014 and 2015.

The boy told investigators that Dillon first kissed him when he was 10 years old during a team event. The suspect was considered the “team mom.”

The victim said after kissing, he was staying at Dillon’s house when she approached him during the night. The suspect allegedly laid next to the boy and they had sex.

“This is somebody who has taken advantage of kids who are 10 and 11 years old. They’re not able to make those types of decisions at that age,” said Detective Ed Troyer with the Pierce County Sheriff Department. “This is disturbing as a parent because you are sending your kid off to a friend’s house with what appeared to be a parent or parents who also coached the team, upstanding in the community, only to have your son victimized.”

Investigators said the boy soon began cutting himself, was suicidal and missing school, so he was sent to live with his father in Virginia.

It wasn’t until this year that he revealed he had been raped during counseling sessions.

Investigators said Dillon admitted she had sex with the boy, saying, “She was the adult and should have known better. She admitted having problems in her marriage and that the victim made her feel good.”

Dillon told deputies she didn’t have strong feelings for the victim but, “She liked the attention,” records say.

Dillon denied having sexual contact with any other boys. She was released on her own recognizance and ordered not to have contact with any children Wednesday.

“Our hearts go out to them and the kid and everyone that’s involved and we definitely need to know if there’s more people involved,” said Troyer.

We see the Romans 1 downward spiral happening in our culture today. The word God is socially acceptable in nearly every sphere because it has come to mean whatever we want it to mean. However, the name of Jesus is considered divisive and intolerant (1 Corinthians 1:18). Words like repentancesin, and surrender are rarely heard—or even preached. The consequence of such self-worship is a society that has a thin veneer of religiosity but no moral foundation. As in Old Testament days, everyone does what is right in their own eyes (Judges 17:6; cf. Proverbs 21:2). When every person decides for himself what is acceptable, chaos, anarchy, and unrestrained evil result. Modern civilizations, including the United States, are quickly sliding into that abyss.

It is impossible to find anyone in the Bible who was a power for God who did not have enemies and was not hated.

Like Joseph and Daniel of the Old Testament who served secular kings, we are called to serve everyone and help them fulfill their divine destiny. Jesus made it clear that people who want to lead or be great must be the servants of all. Serving is the way of leadership in the kingdom.

Forcing our way onto the world is not great leadership. Some accuse us of doing this very thing because we speak up on moral issues. It is important that we speak up on issues, but it’s also equally important that we love everyone no matter their persuasions.

Someday Jesus will rule the world; in the meantime, we should just serve well and let our good works speak of our Father who loves everyone.

The Bible nowhere presents an instance where lying is considered to be the right thing to do. The ninth commandment prohibits bearing false witness (Exodus 20:16). Proverbs 6:16-19 lists “a lying tongue” and “a false witness who pours out lies” as two of the seven abominations to the Lord. Love “rejoices with the truth” (1 Corinthians 13:6).…

The Time of Jacob’s Trouble?

By StevieRay Hansen | July 19, 2019

The phrase “the time of Jacob’s trouble” is a quote from Jeremiah 30:7 which says, “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it” (KJV). In the previous verses of Jeremiah 30, we find that the Lord is speaking…

Evil is usually thought of as that which is morally wrong, sinful, or wicked; however, the word evil can also refer to anything that causes harm, with or without the moral dimension. The word is used both ways in the Bible. Anything that contradicts the holy nature of God is evil (see Psalm 51:4). On the flip side, any…

TATTOOS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH REBELLION! THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN A MARK OF HOLINESS UNTO GOD!

By StevieRay Hansen | July 19, 2019

The Bible warns us against tattoos in Leviticus 19:28 (Amplified) which says, “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the Lord.” I know some will have a hard time receiving this teaching because tattooing has now become an accepted practice in our society.…

We live in a divided country. Certain events bring it together, united we stand, then it fades away to division. We live in this world, a world of division, and change, but we are not of this world. The Bible talks of “the ungodly” as those who are separated from God. Ungodliness is the condition of being polluted with sin. Teachers Arrested Every Day for Sex Crimes with School Children, June- July Report

There is a principle found in Jesus’ words about children. Jesus used a child to teach His disciples that childlike faith is necessary for entrance into the kingdom of heaven. At the same time, He said that the Father has concern for all of His “little ones” (Matthew 18:1–14). In that passage, Jesus says, “But…

not to condemn Miley Cyrus, for we are all guilty, hell-deserving, sinners; but rather, my intent is to expose the evils of her public lewdness, nudity, and raunchiness (especially since she is targeting and influencing MILLIONS of young girls in America)… that Walt Disney sinfully says is a relative issue. No, the Bible is very clear on how women are to dress, behave and carry themselves in public. Miley Cyrus is sleazy, lewd and a reprobate! Instead of having a meek and quiet spirit (1st Peter 3:4); Miley Cyrus is a boisterous, impudent, arrogant, lewd and spoiled brat! Woe unto America!
