ORLANDO— Family-friendly cities with live music, roller coasters, water parks, and more are seen from the Orlando Eye ferris wheel in Icon Park. April 25 differed. Rodriguez and others told The Epoch Times how over 1,000 teens flooded the area during a “teen takeover.” Their testimonies and online videos show the pandemonium in US cities. Illegal gatherings of hundreds of juveniles have occurred in malls, beaches, parks, and restaurants in Chicago since the summer of 2024. These gatherings sometimes result in confrontations, vandalism, property damage, police enforcement clashes, arrests, and shootings. Florida alone has had many takeovers with gunshots and arrests.
In Detroit, a 14-year-old boy was shot at a takeover. Mask-wearing teens vandalized a Washington Chipotle. In a peaceful New Jersey seaside town, teens fought and jumped on cars, prompting police to use riot shields. In Chicago, “teen takeover” became popular. In 2025, it became a national phenomenon and continues in 2026. Participants are usually 12–20. Due to their unpredictability, takeovers scare city leaders, police enforcement, and local companies, pushing them to establish prevention plans.

HNewsWire: Earlier today, Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake questioned why voting machine issues were not affecting “liberal” areas of Arizona on Election Day.
“Do you think this is normal, guys? My question is, do you think what’s happening here in Maricopa County is normal?” Lake told reporters after she cast her ballot in Phoenix.
About 60 voting stations in Maricopa County were affected by a vote tabulation machine issue that county officials say they fixed by changing ballot printer settings.
Lake went on to claim that “voters in tears” have been calling her and asking, “What’s going on? The tabulators aren’t working.” She urged people stuck at polling places to stay in line until they cast a ballot.
Trump is encouraging citizens of the United States to demonstrate their disapproval with voting procedures in the states of Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Detroit, Michigan.
“There are reports coming in from Arizona that the Voting Machines are not operating correctly in places that are largely Republican or Conservative. When it comes to voting, the great majority of Republicans waited till today, so how could this possibly be true? Once more into the breach? On Truth Social, the former president expressed his belief that “the people will not stand for it.”
During an interview on the Todd Starnes Radio Show, Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate Blake Masters stated that up to twenty percent of the vote tabulation devices in Maricopa County had malfunctioned.
Only in Republican strongholds? WOW! This catastrophe is causing significant harm to everyone, including Kari Lake, Blake Masters, and all of the others. Trump noted in a tweet that he “cannot allow this happen, AGAIN.”
A video that was shared on Twitter shows voters in Mesa, Arizona, being denied entry to their voting location.
Additionally, Trump stated that there were worries with absentee voting in the city of Detroit.
People are coming up to vote only to be told “sorry, you have already voted.” This is happening in big numbers, elsewhere as well, as he said. “People are showing up to Vote only to be told “sorry, you have already voted.” “Protest, Protest, Protest!”
However, the assertion that the president made was debunked by Jocelyn Benson, the Secretary of State for the state of Michigan.
Benson stated in his note, “Hi again.” “That is not the case. We ask that you refrain from spreading misinformation with the intention of inciting or encouraging political violence in our state. Or somewhere else. Thanks.”
It is imperative that Ms. Benson verify all of her claims. The previous president encouraged peaceful demonstrations among the populace rather than violent unrest.
