Satan Soldier: Russia Will Invade Ukraine “Within the Next Couple Days”
In a dramatic UN Security Council speech, Blinken lays out Russian false flag 'chemical attack' claims.
"The information I shared here is corroborated by what we've observed unfolding in plain sight before our eyes for months. And remember that while Russia has repeatedly mocked our warnings and concerns as melodrama and nonsense, they've been steadily gathering more than 150,000 troops on Ukraine's borders as well as the capabilities to undertake a large military assault. It isn't just us seeing this. Allies and partners see the same thing," America's top diplomat said.
As if expecting that all the current White House timeframe specific predictions will once again not materialize, Blinken added the critical proviso in the UN address: "If Russia doesn't attack Ukraine, then we will be relieved that Russia altered direction and proven our projections wrong." He followed with: "We’ll gladly take any criticism that anyone directs at us."
"Russia says it's pulling down those forces," he said. "We do not see that occurring on the ground. Our information suggests clearly that these forces, including ground troops, aircraft, ships, are ready to launch an attack against Ukraine in the coming days."
Given the UNSC environment, Blinken notably argued that Russia at this moment doesn't simply constitute a threat to Ukraine, but to "every country in the world"...
"This crisis directly affects every member of this council and every country in the world, because the basic principles that sustain peace and security, principles that were enshrined in the wake of two world wars and the Cold War, are under threat — the principle that one country cannot change the borders of another by force," Blinken said.
He still held out the potential for dialogue, appealing directly to his Russian counter part Sergey Lavrov: "These meetings can pave the way for a summit of key leaders in the context of de-escalation, to establish understandings on our mutual security concerns," he said.
But arguably the most startling and dramatic portion of Blinken's address, was his echoing the recent White House assertions that Russia is planning a false flag assault as a justification for invasion:
"Here's what the world may expect to see develop, in fact it's occurring right now, today... First, Russia aims to construct a pretext for its attack: this may be a violent event that Russia will blame on Ukraine, or an outlandish accusation that Russia would raise against the Ukrainian government."
He emphasized that this "Russia-manufactured" excuse may come in the form of a "fake or actual strike using chemical weapons".
He described the disturbing alleged scenarios:
"It may be a contrived so-called terrorist blast inside Russia, the invented finding of the mass grave, a staged drone strike against civilians, or a phony - even a real - attack employing chemical weapons."
This false flag story had already been anticipated by the White House weeks ago, when Jen Psaki said:
"As part of its objectives, Russia’s creating the infrastructure to have the option of fabricating a pretext for invasion. We have evidence that indicates Russia has already pre-positioned a squad of agents to perform a false flag operation in eastern Ukraine. The agents are trained in urban warfare and in utilizing explosives to carry out acts of sabotage against Russia’s own proxy troops."
And more recently Ned Price was absolutely humiliated when he floated the accusations before an astonished press pool, including Associated Press journalist Matt Lee:
However, we've not entered "Alex Jones territory" as Lee comically charged, given that as of this last UNSC address, it's more like Colin Powell area.
When challenged for evidence by a journalist immediately after the speech, Biden waved his hand and laughed off the need for proof or any degree of specific sourcing...
As though anticipating the Iraq War similarities, Blinken had noted in his Thursday speech:
"Some have called into question our findings, noting similar occasions where intelligence finally did not bear out. But let me be clear: I am here today not to launch a war, but to avert one."
Meanwhile, Russia's foreign ministry has again declared, "No ‘Russian invasion’ into Ukraine the US and its allies have been talking about since September has taken place or is planned."
And oddly, phrases like "cherry-picking" intelligence are once again entering the mainstream. Here we go again.
Putin: Everyone is predicting war between Russia and Ukraine except Russia and Ukraine.
Media: Being wrong is our strategy!
