When we are suffering, there is a need to endure and be still. Although this is quite a difficult truth to accept, we are assured of God’s comfort amid these seasons. May these prayers of strength from Paul in his letter to the Colossians be for you:
Colossians 1:11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy.
Prayer: Lord, I trust in your complete knowledge and comprehension of me. I believe in Your complete and limitless ability to carry out Your holy will. I believe you care and want to assist me, and I am confident that You will take the best, most loving, and most appropriate actions toward me and my needs. So, Lord, keep me coming back to You, where all my hopes are safe and secure. And I will continue to ask You in faith, knowing You are aware, capable, caring, willing, and likely. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

The Watchman
In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
