Maine Gov. Janet Mills on Wednesday activated the state’s National Guard to go to hospitals and help workers after her COVID-19 vaccine mandate caused hundreds of nurses and other healthcare employees to leave their jobs or get fired.

Mills, a Democrat, said the move was to “help alleviate short-term capacity constraints at hospitals and maintain access to inpatient health care services for Maine people amid a sustained surge of COVID-19.”

One of the most-vaccinated states in the country, Maine has seen COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations increase in recent weeks.

Out of 379 hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Maine as of Dec. 8, 117 were in critical care and 60 were on ventilators.

Most are not vaccinated, according to state data.

At the same time, the bulk of inpatient beds were not being used for COVID-19 patients, according to data reported to the Department of Health and Human Services by state facilities.

Dr. Andrew Mueller, CEO of MaineHealth, said hospitalizations for COVID-19 in the healthcare system are the highest ever.

Mueller told reporters in a virtual briefing that a shortage of workers is affecting facilities in addition to the rising number of COVID-19 cases and an “incredible demand for other, non-COVID services.”

Hundreds of workers quit or were fired due to Mills’ COVID-19 vaccine mandate, which the Supreme Court declined to block, Maine hospital systems have told news outlets.

In addition to the workers lost, many workers either have COVID-19 or are being investigated for possible COVID-19, forcing them to miss work, healthcare executives said. They also described a national shortage of qualified workers.

“The challenge we’ve got is finding qualified healthcare workers, because they don’t exist. Our nation’s lost over half a million health care workers who resigned, retired, left the field in the last several months. And so there’s a huge workforce crisis across our country,” Mueller said. (wow. just wow.) They’re not willing to talk about the OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard being the cause for labor shortage. Interesting how they just brush past that.

The National Guard personnel will provide support to facilities and units that get patients who are discharged from hospitals due to being overwhelmed. They’ll also help administer monoclonal antibodies, one of the best-known COVID-19 treatments, in a bid to keep COVID-19 patients who aren’t in hospitals out of hospitals.

“I’m deploying these National Guard members across the state of Maine to expand our hospitals’ capacity to treat people with COVID-19 and other serious conditions,” Mills told a press conference.

The deployment will start next week and run through the end of January.

As many as 75 members will be sent to assist healthcare sites.

Mills’ administration also asked the federal government to send COVID-19 surge response teams to two Maine hospitals. The teams would help workers at Maine Medical Center in Portland and Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Maine Medical Center closed six operating rooms this week to make more space for intensive care units.

Central Maine Medical Center has also seen an increase in patients, including COVID-19 patients.

“Any additional resources that can be provided, whether from the state or federal level, during this time when resources are stretched thin for Maine hospitals are greatly appreciated,” Steve Littleson, the president and CEO of Central Maine Healthcare, the parent company of the center, said in a statement.

So where do we go from here? In the event of a serious catastrophe are we going to continue playing this two tier society simulation? Or will people stand up and admit that they’re wrong? Or will they just carry on, getting MRNA boosters due to the weaning of efficacy over time and across variants. Why is it that these people in society are begging to be coddled? Their actions have displaced hard working Americans during very uncertain times.

The information is out there, it’s been brought to the attention of the right people. Problem is, that just doesn’t quite fit their narrative. Nobody is going to believe a lab leak if they don’t take the time to do the research themselves. Because when it comes down to it, we have our word against theirs; And we don’t control mainstream media like they do. Now more than ever it’s important that you not only look outward, at the news and seek information; But that you also seek peace inwardly for salvation with Jesus Christ. Stay inquisitive in the word of God, and the world around you.

Kathy Hochul, the Democrat Governor of New York City and successor to disgraced Gov. Andrew Cuomo, said on Sunday that those who refuse to get vaccinated against COVID are not heeding God’s call to do so. The 63 year old governor took to Brooklyn’s Christian Cultural Center over the weekend to call upon New Yorkers to be her “apostles” and help encourage unvaccinated folks to get the COVID jab.

“I wear my ‘vaccinated’ necklace all the time to say I’m vaccinated. All of you, yes, I know you’re vaccinated, you’re the smart ones,” Gov. Hochul declared, as reported by Breitbart. “But there’s people out there who aren’t listening to God and what God wants.”

The New York governor was referring to those who refused to get the COVID vaccine. Hochul said that after she claimed she prayed “a lot” during the pandemic, “God did answer our prayers. He made the smartest men and women, the scientists, the doctors, the researchers – he made them come up with a vaccine. That is from God to us and we must say, thank you, God.”

“I need you to be my apostles,” Hochul told the audience, adding that New Yorkers can “love one another” by getting vaccinated against COVID. The New York governor said, “Jesus taught us to love one another and how do you show that love but to care about each other enough to say, please get the vaccine because I love you and I want you to live.”

In mid-September, Hochul vowed to fight back against a lawsuit filed by a group of Christian health care practitioners who decried New York’s COVID vaccine mandate as unconstitutional because it failed to provide religious exemptions, AP News reported. A federal judge temporarily blocked New York from enforcing the vaccine mandate’s clause on prohibiting religious exemptions.

“Everyone from the Pope on down is encouraging people to get vaccinated,” Hochul countered, referring to the current Roman Catholic Church’s Pope Francis. The group of Christian health care workers claimed that they do not want to be forced to get vaccinated with an experimental drug that uses aborted fetal cell lines in its testing, development, or production. All three COVID vaccines approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson, have used fetal cell lines during its research and development.

The Christian group’s representative, Thomas More Society senior counsel Stephen Crampton believes that the court will rule for people’s rights to refuse getting vaccinated on the grounds of their religious beliefs, regardless if they are part of a religious group that is endorsing the COVID vaccines.

“My sincere religious convictions may not be 100% the same as the leader of my church or my denomination and the law respects that and it should,” Crampton said.

Crampton assured however, that the Christian group he represents are not “anti-vax” in general, despite the fact that the use of human cell lines has long been around, specifically for widely-accepted vaccines for rubella, chickenpox, shingles and Hepatitis A. Aside from New York, seven other states do not provide religious exemption for school and childcare immunization requirements.

It is important that we pay attention to where people stand in the spirit. And i can tell you now, never have i heard more hollow words come from a politician. This woman is speaking as if she hasn’t done a lick of research as to why we’re vaccine hesitant. I have moved on past the point of trusting any politician to do the right thing. It’s entirely up to me to hone in on the word of God and find bliss amidst the chaos. Stay inquisitive in the word of God and the world around you.

The only way to end this is by the people rising up and telling the authorities that this is the end of the line.

It is not the courts of law. The courts of law, maybe we can use them to clean things up. But I am afraid that they are not even good for that. Because they are so infiltrated by the other side that we’re going to have to setup a whole new judicial system.

That doesn’t mean that they are not going to proceed with a trial that will be similar to the original Nuremberg trials. He states that there will be a real judge, real lawyers, and real witnesses, but the jury will be “the people” who will watch it via live stream. And he expects this to happen soon, before the end of the year.
